She sat down as kameron sat next to lysander

Lysander noticed Kameron sit down but didn't really react much. He didn't mind where she sat.

Henry smiled at Tyler and kissed her cheek before sitting next to her. ”I love you.” he said just above a whisper.

Betty sighed and kameron layed her head on lysanders shoulder and Tyler nodded

Lysander stiffened in surprise as he felt Kameron lean against him. ”Uhh… Kam? What are you doing?” he asked politely, though he was sure he’d be blushing if it were possible.

" I used to do this all the time" kameron said.

Betty clenched her bandaged hands together

Lysander swallowed nervously. ”Uhh, yeah. But that was before I was married.” he said gently reminding his old friend. ”And now I don't think this is very appropriate right now.”

"Elizabeth doesn't mind" kameron said

"Nope not at all it's not like we're always together" she said

Lysander sighed, knowing that Betty did mind very much. He could practically feel her sarcasm and discomfort. ”Maybe not… But I mind. I’m sorry Kameron but I would deeply appreciate it if you didn't lean on me.” he said calmly but not rudely.

Kameron slowly leaned off him " I'm sorry" she said

“It’s alright.” Lysander smiled politely at Kameron. ”We’re still friends, I’m just married now and it doesn't feel right doing things like that with anyone other than my wife.” he explained.

" then why was your wife at your brothers house?" Lily asked making Betty clench her eyes shut

Lysander narrowed his eyes slightly. ”Because your brother scared her by reminding her with his blasé attitude about drinking from her at her abusive stepfather's permission.” he said, trying to keep from growling though his eyes flickered red at the thought. ”And your comment about calling her a maid certainly didn't help either.”

" well we were your best friends what happened?" Jacob asked

”What happened, Jacob, was I fell in love.” Lysander stated firmly. ”And I count myself very lucky that she agreed to marry me when she has had so many bad experiences with vampires… I don't take any of her blood unless she wants me to. Hell, if there was a way for me to change back without killing myself, I would do it for her.”

" but there is" tyler said and Betty threw a carrot at her

”There is?” Lysander echoed, turning to look at Tyler. ”What is it?” he asked.

Tyler looked at betty

Lysander followed Tyler's gaze to his wife. ”Do you know it?” he asked Betty.

" she is it" she said

”I don't understand.” he said softly. ”You mean… that my wife can…” he trailed off, unsure how to say the words.

" her blood" Tyler corrected and a bit of her light powers " she said

Lysander nodded, listening. ”Would it hurt you?” he asked his wife gently. Personally, he could handle pain but he didn't want to do anything to hurt her.

" emotionally" both girls said taking a drink from thier cups at the same time

He raised a questioning brow. That was not an answer he had been expecting. ”How?”

" because your my eternal as a vampire as a human your someone else's" she said

”Oh… I… I didn't know. I didn't think it worked that way.” he said softly.

" yep" tyler said

He sighed, nodding as he leaned back in his chair and stared at the plate in front of him.

" do you want to be human?" Betty asked

”I… I'm not sure now.” he admitted. ”On one hand, I won't have to drink anymore of your blood, I could go to your play, you wouldn't have to be scared of me and I wouldn't need this sun ring…” he sighed, running his hand through his hair. ”But I don't want to lose you. I want to be able to protect you instead of needing protection.”
