Springheart smiled, "I sure hope so…" she blinked, sniffing the air when, she looked down at the grass, it was crushed. she lifted her paw when she saw the distant shape of a small paw, she froze when she saw it. "Swiftstar… I think you should see this…"
Ciel nodded and flicked his tail on Stormkit, he picked the tom up and began to walk in the direction of the abandoned twoleg house, he made sure to keep a close eye on the kits as he walked, Vixenkit was chatting quietly with Mistkit while Flamekit walked with his head hung low.
Swiftstar gasped as she saw the pawprint. "They passed by here!" She called to the rest of the patrol. Stormcloud immediately told the two WindClan warriors what to do as Springheart, Shadowclaw, and Swiftstar gathered around the paw print. "You were right," Swiftstar said to Shadowclaw, "They came to ShadowClan."
Springheart blinked, fear washed over her, "what if a ThunderClan patrol has them?!" her mew went up into a shrill squeak, her brain ran wild as she pulled her ears back. She felt Swiftstar press up against her. Springheart felt her heart break just a little more.
Owlheart and Dappledspots searched the area for any other signs of the kits. A few minutes later, Owlheart called to the others. "Over here! I found their scent!" She sniffed the leaves again to be sure as Dappledspots raced up to her.
Springheart dashed over, her heart racing. She sniffed the leaves, "its Mistkits scent…" she whispered, she sniffed and the she found a new scent. The new sent smelt….odd. Springheart backed up, "I think a rogue might be with them…" she mewed, her violet gaze looked up at the darker part of the woods. They could be anywhere!
Shadowclaw ran over but stoped. He sniffed. He smelled a different scent. Not Miskit's nor any of the kits scent. This was new. A ThunderClan sent. "A ThunderClan cat was here" He said, hissing. He couldn't think of the scent. It was simular to a one he smelled a few years before. He hissed at the thought and continued to the other cats.
Owlheart looked off into the trees, visibly determined to find the kits. She remembered the pain she had felt when… She pushed the thought from her mind. Instead focusing on the current situation. I will find those kits. No matter what.
(Owlheart had some family problems. Kind of like Brambleclaw with all the Tigerstar stuff. She is a poor judged bean.)
oopsie– honestly, i never liked Brambleclaw XD))
(Oh. I thought he was a good character.)
I like the character idea, son of evil, father tries to make son evil, but son wants to not be evil and ends up being a good guy. but like in all the new books hes so mean to Squirrelflight :'( and Squirrelflight is in my top 15 favorite characters))
"Wait." Swiftstar said, tasting the air. "A ThunderClan patrol." She flicked her tail towards the deeper woods nearer the middle of the territory.
Springheart had the urge to run out and find her kits but something kept her in place, "what if it becomes a border skirmish?" Springheart mewed.
"It won't. They have no more right to be here than we do." Swiftstar said stepping to the front of the patrol and pulling Shadowclaw with her. "Just in case, we should be on guard."
Owlheart's eyes blue eyes narrowed. She was going to find the kits. Even if she had to fight the whole of ThunderClan. "We can handle it. And besides, we could just tell them that we're looking for the kits." She suggested, "ThunderClan cats care about kits too. They might even help us." She knew it was a long shot, but no one else was coming up with any ideas.
"They might. Just in case, I'll talk with them." She shuffled her paws nervously. "If they do attack, I'll protect you." She added quietly to Springheart.
Springheart felt her pelt heat up a bit, as she gave a shy smile.
"Stop-" Shadowclaw said. "Thunderclan…im-" He stoped. "Remeber i told you that i had kits with a She-cat?" He meowed to Springheart. "She was a ThunderClan She-cat…" He meowed sadly.
Springheart looked over, surprised but she could understand, she wouldn't tell anybody else but her kits where half kittypet. She gave a comforting smile, "its okay…" she whispered, "I understand…"
should we make a border skirmish??))
Springheart watched the woods, ThunderClan scent tickled at her nose, soon she saw a few cats walked up the the WindClan border, Springheart took notice of the ginger she-cat, Scorchfeather. Springheart stared with wide eyes at the she-cat, "well well well, look at what we have here!" the she-cat purred , her lips curled into a smile. "WindClan!" Springheart backed up, shuffling towards Swiftstar who already had her claw out. Scorchfeather flicked her long striped tail, "your little patrol shouldn't even be here," Springheart could feel the tension in the air, as thick as a cloud. "ShadowClan belongs to us and if WindClan thinks that they can steal this territory, you better watch yourself because I won't hesitate to scratch a few WindClan warrior up like little baby mice…" Scorchfeather chuckled, more ThunderClan warriors walked out from the shadows, their eyes glittering like flames.
Owlheart glared at Scorchfeather. "Is that supposed to scare us?" She scoffed with an amused smirk, "We're not here to steal territory anyway." The white splotches on her dark brown pelt gleamed in the moonlight. "Why don't you just get out of our way so we can get what we came for?"
"We mean no harm to you or your territory. We only come to find three of our kits who we believe entered here. You wouldn't of happened to see them?" Swiftstar said calmly, despite how much she wanted to get her warriors out of there. She flicked her tail at Owlheart, wishing for the young warrior to hold her tongue.
"no, we haven't seen any kits….." the ginger she-cat replied, Scorchfeather looked over at a dark pelted warrior, "Rainfrost, don't even try it…" the so called Rainfrost growled, Scorchfeather looked back up at Swiftstar, "whos kits are they anyway, if we know who their parents are, we could looks out for pelt colors around camp…"
Swiftstar looked back at Springheart, but played it off like she was looking to the patrol, giving Springheart the choice of telling.
Springheart blinked, clearing her throat, "One of them is a dark brown and the other is a blueish-grey…" Springheart took notice of Scorchfeather scanning the WindClan patrol, "of course–" Rainfrost hissed and ran over towards Springheart, "DON'T YOU DARE LIE TO ME!" queen backed up, fear washed over her, fear keeping her in place as Rainfrost jumped at her, in a blur she watched as Swiftstar jumped over and bowled into the black tom.
Swiftstar let her claws press against his shoulder but not pierce it, "Don't you dare." She hissed in his ear.
Owlheart stared in shock, but quickly shook it off and stepped next to Springheart, ready to protect her Clanmate at any cost. I won't let any of these cats die.
All the apprentices were asleep in their den except for Silverpaw. She sat right outside the entrance, staring up at the stars. "Psst! Silverpaw!" A voice whispered. Silverpaw glanced around, her pelt brisltling. "Who's there?" She whispered back. "Over here!" The voice replied, as the bushes close to the apprentices' den began to rustle. Shadepaw peeped his head out and Silverpaw's eyes widened. "What are you doing here?" She stared at him incredulously. "I have something to show you. C'mon." Shadepaw crawled out of bush out of the WindClan camp, with Silverpaw following. "If we get caught, both our Clans will be mad."
Rainfrost hissed, "let. go." in a rage of fury he tried to claw at the leader, Springheart watched as Scorchfeather pelted out from the shadows, more warriors followed the she-cat. Springheart managed to count 4 other warriors and 1 apprentice. Scorchfeather clawed at Swiftstar, knocking the leader off of Rainfrost. Springheart unsheathed her claws as a warrior jumped at her," WINDCLAN SCUM!" the pale she-cat hissed.
