"No." he said, rubbing hsi eyes.
"No." he said, rubbing hsi eyes.
“Okay…is it a spatula?” she asked.
"Nope." he replied, closing his eyes and laying down.
“A dish towel?” She was terrible at this game.
"No." he said again, shaking his head.
“A dishwasher?” she asked.
"No." He replied again.
“A sink?” she asked now, still a bit confused.
"No." he shook his head, sighing softly. "One of your earlier guesses was really close, by the way."
She bit her lip. But which one was the close one? “Is it a whisk?”
"No." he shook his head again, closing his eyes for a moment.
“Hmm…is it found in places besides the kitchen?” Elissa asked.
"Oh yeah." he replied, nodding.
“A towel?” Elissa asked.
"No." he replied, shaking his head a little bit.
“A cup?” she asked next.
"No." he replied, sighing.
“A table?” he asked.
"No." He said again.
“A counter?” Elissa asked, close to giving up.
"No." He said again, shaking his head.
Elissa sighed. “Okay, I give up. What was it?”
"A knife." he replied, looking over at her.
“I was so close!” Elissa cried. “I thought you said it wasn’t something you use to eat your food!”
"I don't remember…well…technically you don't?" he replied, biting his lip.
Elissa laughed. “Oh well,” she said. “It was kind of like with the vegetable thing and chocolate.”
He laughed a little. "Yeah." he replied.
“So what now?” she asked, closing her eyes.
"Hm. I don't know."
Elissa leaned back against the cool metal of the wall and closed her eyes again.
