"Bowl?" She asked looking up at the cabinet

”Sure.” He nodded and reached up, grabbing the bowl for her.

She took the bowl and put it on the counter and started things for a salad on it

He took astep back and watched her for a moment. “Do you need any help?” he offered.

" Nope I do the cooking at the cabin too" she said

“I know but I still offer to help.” he reminded her kindly.

Betty shrugged and lily and Kameron walked in and betty started cutting up vegetables

Lysander gave a small sigh took a few more steps back, not really noticing the other two.

Kameron put A hand on lysanders shoulder " you ok?"

Lysander almost jumped at the touch but managed to keep the movement down to a small twitch. He turned to look at Kameron and relaxed a little. ”Yeah, I'm fine. I just didn't hear you come in.” he said.

Betty called "Evan!"

Lysander snapped his attention back to his wife, even though she hadn't said his name.

Evan approached the kitchen as he called back. ”Yes, Betty?” he had almost called her one of the sweet nicknames that he had used the night before when they had been alone.

" Do you have any carrots?". She asked

”Yeah. Top drawer in the fridge.” he said from the entryway.

" can you grab them, please" she said

“Sure.” Evan nodded, heading over to the fridge and grabbing the requested vegetable. ”How many do you need?”

"Five" she said

”Ok. Here you are.” Evan smiled as he brought them over to her.

She smiled after washing them she put one in her mouth

Evan chuckled a little. ”Needed a snack?”

She giggled "Sweetheart?" She asked

”Yes?” both Evan and Lysander replied at the same time.

Betty smiled " Im thirsty, can you get me some juice?" She asked her boyfriend

“Sure thing, sweetie.” Evan smiled, grabbing a glass for her.

Betty blushed and tended back to the carrots

Lysander looked at the two of them in surprise for a moment as Evan poured the juice for his wife.

”Here you go.” Evan said, setting the glass next to her.

" Thank You," she said taking a sip

”You’re welcome.” Evan smiled, wanting to kiss her a little, but held back in front of his brother.

"You want to help?' She asked

”Umm, are you asking me? Because I would be glad to.” Evan said, glancing briefly at Lysander.
