Cicada looked at him as she led on. Her posture was confident and she stood tall, "Oh come on, it'll be fun! I promise."
Cicada looked at him as she led on. Her posture was confident and she stood tall, "Oh come on, it'll be fun! I promise."
"I'll hold that to you." Phoenix hummed, letting her pull him along. "But I trust you, I told you I'd follow you anywhere."
"Does that mean you'll follow me into a fight?" Cicada asked him making sure her tone was clearly teasing rather than anything close to serious, "Or into a bar?"
"Definitely into a bar, so I can pull you back out. To a fight, probably. I'll just be cowering behind you." Phoenix shrugged, standing up straighter to stretch his back.
Cicada laughed at his response and bumped him a little, "Alright! So let's hope we get lost in a bar! Or ya know, end up in a bar. I'm kidding."
"I know you're kidding. But like, if we ended up in a bar, you'd probably order straight alcohol, and I'd be trying to get apple juice." Phoenix chuckled, relaxing more as they walked on.
"Hell yeah, I would get alcohol," Cicada had a determined look on her face though it quickly melted to a mischievous look, "ALso you could probably get water at a bar."
"No, I'd get 'apple juice' and wind up drunk. They'd give me some crap I definitely don't want." Phoenix snickered, giving her a light smirk. "I mean, I'd probably not question it until it was too late."
"Oh I'm going to have to try that at some point," Cicada responded snickering lightly. She had a good smile on her face as she kept wandering aimlessly on campus, "I'm sure you'll be able to tell pretty quickly."
"Yeah, but sometimes I'm just an idiot. So maybe, maybe not." Phoenix shrugged as he focused on her instead of their surroundings. "I may or may not know what alcohol tastes like. Even if I'm only nineteen."
"Ooo, have you been drinking before Phoenix?" Cicada asked glancing over at him with a devil looking smirk. She kept going letting the buildings past them.
"Well… I may or may not have gotten into my mom's stuff before. Until she found out about it." Phoenix hummed with a shrug, pursing his lips a bit. "So yeah, I'm a bad child."
"Wow, I didn't know you had it in you," Cicada had a big grin on and bumped him lightly. She was having fun just talking with him, "Taking your mom's alcohol and drinking it."
"Trust me, I was terrified when she found out." Phoenix laughed, tipping his head down to the ground. "And it was terrifying before I did it, but like, it was thrilling."
Cicada threw her head back a little as she laughed and her smile grew by the minute. She looked back over at him, "If it was terrifying then why'd you do it? You didn't have to dink your mom's stash."
Phoenix chuckled, smiling at her. "My sister said it would 'make me cooler'. So of course I did it." He insisted, remembering the conversation that led up to it. "But then again, I was bothering her. So she just did it to keep me away."
Cicada continued laughing as she kept walking, "Oh, of course, your sister told you to. Did you end up getting into trouble afterward? Or did you let your sister take the fall."
"Well, it was both. But I was in way more trouble than she was." Phoenix shrugged, laughing a little bit. "But hey, I never did it again. So I learned that lesson."
"Ah, that's sad," Cicada laughed slightly and she bumped Phoenix lightly, "You lost that little bit of dare-devil in ya."
“Eh, it’s still there. Just buried deep down is all.” Phoenix hummed, his smile still up. “You’ve gotta look for it, but you’ll find it.”
"Oh now that I know it's there I'm determined to find it," Cicada replied with a big grin.
"Good luck. I'll let you know if you found it or not." Phoenix hummed, smiling back with a light laugh. He was relaxed, just talking with her. It was no big deal, and just relaxing.
Cicada laughed a little her posture completely relaxed as they wandered the campus, "Oh I'm sure you will. Do they allow alcohol on campus?"
"I've got no clue, but I'm going to say no. I'm scared what you have in mind." Phoenix told her, not actually seeming threatened by it. "My answer might change, if you elaborate."
"Mmm I'm thinking you and I just take a night, after finals or when we have no assignments or classes the next day and get fucking wasted," Cicada responded with a huge grin on, "See if we can find that wild side of yours again."
"Honestly, it sounds decently appealing." Phoenix hummed, his interest starting to peek through. "Despite the fact I really shouldn't, I would be down. We just clearly need to figure out how to get alcohol."
"I should be turning 21 soon," Cicada responded with a mischievous grin. She was glad that he seemed to be down to do it, "So I'll be able to legally buy alcohol and then I'll sneak it on campus."
"I'm totally joking, but if we got married, I could legally drink it then too. I'm pretty sure at least. I think only one of the two parties has to be 21." Phoenix hummed, nodding a bit. "But hey, if the girls in your dorm won't tattle about the guys coming in, why would they about alcohol?"
"Exactly," Cicada responded with a huge grin, "So what do you say? After I turn 21, which is in a few days I'm not telling you which though, we get wasted for an evening?"
"Mmm, I'd like to know a little bit ahead of time. I don't want to clash getting drunk with a day I've got something important." Phoenix hummed, mostly joking. "Though, I really thought you were about to say let's get married after you turn 21."
