why am i such a pig

this is the most horrifyingly overbudget i’ve been since i started

Shut up. Weight matters, but only to a certain extent. What you are feeling isn't healthy. I'm sure you're pretty fine. Have you considered that you don't have the right genetics to be some kind of "right" that's hard for you. Honestly I don't know much so please enlighten. Is this a legitimate health thing at all? Bc if it's not, it's society's standards. And we all know those are straight up bullshit.

Happy vent: I got to be part of a family today. This is the most relaxed I've been in such a long while, especially when surrounded by people.
It's also shown me that there's still hope for me. That the emotions I buried to protect myself are still there. My anger and hatred haven't burned away the last shreds of my human decency. I still care. I still love.

My brother is bitching because I got a small TV and air conditioner as part of my birthday gifts because I've been watching stuff with my boyfriend to stay connected and my room is 1) the hottest room in the house and 2) circulates air very poorly. He has also never asked for either of these things
And he's getting mad that my parents didn't get him a graduation gift despite the fact that they didn't get my sister one either and my grandma got him like a thousand dollar music thing
My grandma is the one who handles graduation gifts because she likes spending money on us
I understand why he's frustrated, but when my parents offer to get him one too since he's whiny about it he's like "Well I'm leaving in 2 months anyways so it isn't even worth it umu you should have gotten them for me years ago"

It was.
I’m technically healthy now, but not by too much
I was mainly just sick of looking at myself, sure maybe my weight isn’t super excessive but my diet of basically entire blocks of plain cream cheese and half a bag of doritos each meal is not healthy and needs to hecking stop before my weight gets that excessive

Me: Instantly feeling like a complete failure because I have C's and B's in all of my classes. "yeah…. she's great."

Spent the day taking a hose to 50+ muddy US Flags that are normally hung throughout my hometown. Once they were clean of said mud my dad and I went around town and put them up. A lot of people are helping out with cleaning the areas hit by dam failure/breach flooding; people from different states have even come to help out in any way they can. Whether they are handing out food and drink, or getting down and dirty (and I do mean dirty), it helps out in so many ways. I and many others will be forever grateful to the generosity of others during all of this.

I'm gonna miss my stand partner from this year. She's great
well, we'll be the only two upperclassmen in the flute section for marching band and she's gonna be my unofficial co-section leader so that's good ig

ok so operation getting help has been moved to tomorrow because my dumbass self decided to spend the entire day slowly reworking the letter in text before swinging for two hours and now it’s already bedtime and you can’t really write down and quietly slip a letter under your mom’s pillow while she’s there
