He nodded, pulling the egg carton from the fridge. There were only three left when he checked. "Sure. There aren't that many left, just letting you know."

(not gonna be too active. I got in a fight with my siblings and we're all in trouble 🙄)
Alex nodded. "I was just gonna eat one." He replied. "Not like…all of them."
(ohhh boy, lmao, i totally understand, dw about it)
"Fair enough." He set the egg carton down on the counter. His eyes traveled up to the ceiling, following the sounds of buzzing fluorescent lights.
(lmao alright)
He took the egg and got out a pan, turning the stove and starting to get to work.
Danny hopped onto the counter. He tugged on the sleeve of his shirt, watching Alex cook.
Alex kept working on the eggs, humming quietly to himself as he worked.
Danny fiddled with his hands. The lights were still buzzing. He looked back up at them for a moment before looking back at Alex.
Alex continued working. He would be done soon.
Danny apparently got tired of staring at shitty lights, because he finally broke the silence. "I think I'm gonna go on a walk or somethin'. At some point."
Alex looked over. "Oh. I'll…do you want company, or…?" He asked, raising his eyebrows and dishing the eggs out onto a plate. He cleaned off the pan and then started to eat.
"Yeah, man, you can come. I don't mind. Nice havin' people around." Danny hummed. "I dunno when I'm gonna go, but it'll probably happen eventually."
Alex nodded, starting to eat. "Alright." He replied with a smile.
Danny hopped off the counter, beginning to pace lightly. He was getting restless, but he didn't want to rush Alex. After all, he'd gone out of his way to come over and help calm Danny down.
Alex finished up the eggs, washing off the plate and setting it to dry. "Alright, done."
"Oh, sick." Danny would've sprung to his feet if he wasn't already standing. "You wanna go? Outside?"
Alex smiled a little bit. "Yeah, alright." he replied, stretching a little bit.
He crouched by the door to tug on his shoes. "Fuck yeahhh…." Danny mumbled to himself. He really just had the most dog energy to him, and it showed.
Alex squashed his smile, not wanting Danny to think he was making fun of him, and put on his shoes.
Danny grabbed his phone and keys, shoving them both into his pocket. "You ready to go?"
Alex nodded. "Yup." He replied, running his hands through his hair.
Danny opened the door with an air of grandeur, letting Alex leave first before shutting the door behind them. "Alright, uhh- let's fucken' go, man."
Alex got outside. "Alright. Don't walk too fast though, I only have short little legs."
"Yeah, yeah, I get it- your little human legs can't even compete with these bad boys." Danny joked, beckoning down to his own legs. "I almost feel bad for you."
He narrowed his eyes a little. "My legs aren't little because I'm human, my legs are little because I'm fucking short."
"Alright, alright." Danny conceded, putting his palms up in defeat. "I'm just fuckin' around. You know that, right?"
Alex nodded a little. "I know, I know."
"Cool." Danny stepped outside, squinting as his eyes adjusted to the sudden light. "Where you wanna go?"
Alex shrugged slightly. "Uhm…I don't care. Wherever."
Danny began walking them in a direction that was familiar to him. Well- he was familiar with most (if not all) of the city by now, but this way was just a favorite of his.
Alex was quiet as they walked, sticking near Danny.
