Ferran shook his head. "No I have to go with you."

"Like I said, if you say so…" Okay Livia, take us back.

Remember you have to be connected otherwise I can't get you two here, especially in this situation….

Right. Alice smiled reassuringly at Ferran, and reached for his hand. He looked a little shocked at her touch. "We have to be connected," she hurriedly explained, embarrassed.

"Oh…yeah.." He blushed.

She giggled, then immediately turned serious again. "You ready?"

"Yeah….I think so…" He gulped. He remembered the sensation of teleporting before. It had nearly made him pass out last time.

"You'll be fine," she said, giving his hand a little squeeze. Okay, we're ready.

The world melted away. Ferran lost the feeling of Alice's hand in his. Everything was black.

Ferran… can you hear me?

Yeah.. He was trying not to faint.

Good, just… hold on. Livia, are we almost there?

Okay, good. Ferran, we're almost- The ground suddenly appeared and she collapsed onto the grass. "Never mind," she groaned, "We're already here."

Ferran sat up. Livia was standing across the yard, cringing. "Sorry for that rough landing. I got distracted…"

"No, it's fine. Ferran, you okay?"

"Yeah…just let me…catch my breath…" He looked at her. "How about you?"

"Yeah." She took a deep breath. "So how're we going to do this?"

"Well…" Livia helped them both stand up. "Let's start with Sammi and Silene."

"Okay, just a second…" She closed her eyes for a moment and sorted through the thoughts she heard until she found Sammi and Silene's. "They're at the beach."
