Ellis closed his eyes for a moment, taking a deep breath, then ate his food.

When Lloyd finished eating, he stared at the ceiling again. "So… what now?" He asked.

Ellis shrugged, taking a deep breath. "I don't know." he replied slowly.

"I probably need to talk to Anton at some point…" Lloyd sighed.

Ellis closed his eyes. "Ah. Yeah. Would you like me to go get him?"

"Um… yeah, sure. If you don't mind, that is…" Lloyd ran his fingers through his hair.

"Yeah, sure." he got up, slipping out of the room.

Lloyd nodded and waved to Ellis, sitting up and getting himself ready for Anton to come in.

Ellis waved back, closing the door and heading for Anton's room.

Lloyd sat in silence while he waited, trying to prepare what he was going to say.

Ellis found Anton, and they started walking.

Lloyd glanced up again when he heard footsteps.

Ellis opened the door, leading Anton inside quietly.
Anton shot Lloyd a quick smile, sitting down in a chair near the bed.

"Er… hi… it's been a little while since we've spoken, hasn't it?" Lloyd said awkwardly, fidgeting a bit.

Anton smiled a little bit. "Yeah, it has." He replied. Ellis ducked out of the room to give them privacy."

Lloyd was quiet for a few seconds. "Um… I just figured I should let you know that, since I've been shot and all, you'll probably be in danger too…"

Anton blinked slightly. "Yes, I…I figured that." He replied, looking at Lloyd. "Are you…how are you doing?"

Lloyd shrugged "I'm… uh… I'm not a huge fan of being stuck in here. Ellis helped me learn how to use the crutches, but using them is a bit humiliating, to be honest…"

Anton nodded. "Yeah. I…don't think I can carry you, or I'd offer to." He replied with a slight shrug.

"Honestly, you probably could… my bones are hollow, so I don't weigh much. I wouldn't ask you to do something like that, though." Lloyd sighed. "I just… wanted to make sure you'd be careful. Don't go out alone, if you can…"

Anton shrugged. "Still. I don't know." he replied. He nodded a little bit. "I'll be careful." he shrugged slightly. "Don't worry."

Lloyd nodded as well and was quiet for a few seconds. "I also thought that we should probably… um… talk, I guess. I haven't gotten to talk to you much and I'd like to get to know you better."

Anton laughed a little bit, and nodded. "Yes, that sounds like a good decision." he replied.

"So… is there anything you'd like to talk about?" Lloyd asked awkwardly. "I never quite know what to ask you…"

Anton laughed a little bit. "I uhm…I don't know. What do you enjoy doing?"

"Usually training, flying… riding horses. Reading if I've actually got something interesting." Lloyd laughed weakly. "You?"

He nodded. "Eh…reading, I suppose. Talking with friends." he knew there were things he did that he shouldn't tell the prince and his fiance.

Lloyd didn't know much of such things considering how rarely he left the castle and for what he left it for. "Is there anything important I should know about you before we… you know, get married?"

Anton blinked. "Uhm…no? i don't have any STD's or other diseases, so that's not an issue, and I can't think of anything else."

Lloyd flushed a bit at Anton's choice of information and nodded. "I-I… uh… it's literally impossible for me to have any STD's, so I guess we're good on that front??" He said awkwardly.
