Evan nodded. ”Ok. Do you want to go into the kitchen?” he asked, not too sure about letting her feed in front of the kids.

She nodded

”Ok.” Evan nodded again, gently taking Adrian and handing the little boy over to Ly before heading into the kitchen with Betty.

" I'm really sorry it's just your blood tastes different and it's more than a want it's a need" she said

Evan raised a brow as she apologized. ”It’s… ok, I’ve never actually heard that before though.” he admitted. ”Are you saying that you're addicted to my blood?” he asked, a little concerned.

" No Just I haven't had fresh off the vein blood in weeks and no matter how hard I try I'm in love with you and that makes your blood even more filling"

Evan smiled softly and nodded. ”That’s understandable. I love you too, Betty.” he told her, lifting his wrist up for her.

She looked at his arm holding his hand and forearm

Evan smiled encouragingly. ”Go ahead.”

Her eyes turned black with veins in her cheeks as she drank from him

Evan held completely still, not even twitching as he let her drink as much as she needed.

She Drew her mouth away blood on her mouth. She placed soft tender kisses over the wound

That caused Evan to moan softly but he still didn't move.

With a few more kisses the wound healed

Evan let out a sigh and gently cupped her cheek.

She looked up at him

He smiled sweetly at her and gave her a kiss.

She kissed him back gently

He slowly deepened the kiss.

She ran her hand up his arm

He smiled a little as he reluctantly pulled back.

She reached forward wiping the blood off his lips as blood Stayed on hers

He chuckled softly, licking whatever was left off his lips as he gently wiped hers with his thumb.

She looked up at him the two of them very close

”I do love you and I wish I could deserve you.” he whispered.

" I have a a family to protect and your never going to put me before your duties" she said

Evan sighed and nodded slightly. ”I know you do and, if it's possible, I would like to help protect you and your family.” he told her. ”I… I may have made a mistake when I ran away from my parents. Ever since the previous King, my mentor, found me… He never married. To him, marriage was optional.”

"It is it's a choice you have to make" she said

“I know.” he acknowledged. ”I need to get my priorities straight.”
