Sacia started to say more but she couldn't speak. She was laughing too hard. "If there are wires," she giggled, "then we're so screwed!" She dissolved into more laughter.

"Not fun." Paige stated simply. "I'm surprised I didn't punch my brother sooner."

Zanna was laughing too, "At least we go down together!"

"Other than me, it's two boys and two girls. I'm the odd one out."

"Huh." Artemis decided to unpack her bag. "So do the girls have to wear skirts for uniform, or do we get pants?"

Paige stuck her leg out, pointing to her leggings under her skirt. "I play it safe and choose both."

Artemis chuckled.She switched back to the subject of family. "So what about your Dad? You didn't mention him."

Paige went silent. "There's a reason I didn't 'mention' him. What about you?"

"Well, I lived with my mom and dad, but I'm pretty sure mom doesn't like dad."

Paige nodded. "Lets not talk about family." She stated, lying back down.

Vaughn pushed up off the chair, crossing across the room to the library area. Once he was a bit more hidden from view in between the shelves, he loosened his tie and let his shoulders slouch, exhaling slowly.

"Okay. What's your favorite color?"

"It changes every week or so. Right now, it's purple." She pointed to her hair.

Phoebe walked into the library with a scowl on her face. She hated this stupid uniform. She hated she couldn't put on her nice jewelry and her makeup. She hated that she couldn't be her. She scanned through the shelves, trying to find something, anything, good to read.

"Cool! My favorite color's fuchsia!" She said, pointing to her hair too.

Vaughn’s finger tips trailed lightly over the cover of a book he had plucked from a shelf. None of these books looked interesting. They were all about good morals and love. Where was the action? Where was the darkness of the real world? He rubbed at his arm where he knew the small tattoo was. He had managed to be allowed to keep it, considering the importance of it. He just wasn’t allowed to have it showing.

"Awesome." Paige said some what sarcastically.

Zanna was laughing too, "At least we go down together!"

Sacia grinned. Her entire face was red from laughing. "I'm so glad we're roommates."
