Lysander looked at her and clasped her hands. "You are my soulmate. No one else. Marie is my killer. I won't give you up."

"Oh Ly you know I don't want to I love you more than anything but if I wolf out I could hurt you are you going to do what needs to be done will you be able to kill me if things get out of hand" she said

"No." he admitted softly, looking at her hands.

Charles rubbed his forehead, still planing to give his friend a chance to help and willing to pay for it himself.

"Dad were not going to your friend there's another option " she walked over to the counter opening the drawer she held out a key "this is the key to Alec's basement"

Charles looked up at her, surprised that she knew what he had been thinking but raised a brow at the second option.

Lysander’s eyes reflexively turned red at the memory of that place but he closed them before she could see the color. ”What’s there that can help you?” he asked, willing to try anything else before the first suggestion.

"During a full moon there are chains down there you can chain me up there are needles that will stab into my wrists and I can get you wolfsbane"

”Like what we did when your darker side had to say hello?” Lysander gave a broken smile at that memory.

Evan raised a brow at the mention of wolfsbane. ”Won’t that stuff kill you?”

"Lysander when you were captive by Alec that's exactly what were doing and no when my darker side came out I was just chained" she said

Lysander’s smile quickly fell as Evan’s question was answered even though Betty didn't address him. ”Angel… No. If I have to I can do what we did for your dark side but I can't add wolfsbane if it's your version of vervain. I still have nightmares about being there.” he admitted, wanting to hold her.

"I'm sure Marie will do it" she said "It's this or you never get to see me again"

Lysander shook his head. ”I refuse to let her near you. She’d just take the opportunity to torture you. Or flat out kill you.”

"fine " she walked over to the sink and pulled out a black kit and handed it to him

He raised a brow as he accepted the item. ”What is this?” he asked, more curious than anything.

"inside is some medication and a shot gun and needles" she said

He looked at her, even more confused and a bit worried. ”What kind of medicine and why would I need a shotgun?” he asked.

"your just have to inject me every day that way when I wolf out it won't be fully" she said

Lysander gave a small nod. ”That seems reasonable… Why did you save this solution for last?” he smiled a little to show he was more teasing with that question. ”It won't do anything else to you?”

"Nope just make me a.little less of a monster" she said

“You’re not a monster… not to me.” he assured her, pulling her in for a hug. ”But if this helps you, then I’ll do it.”

She smiled softly

But it's not a cure… Charles noted as Lysander kissed Betty's head.

”Is telepathy a newly developed power of yours, my dear?” Charles asked with a light chuckle before he headed over to the table and picked up Cole to feed him.

"No no no let me.feed my baby_ she said

Charles raised a brow slightly but nodded bringing Cole over to her. ”Alright.”

She held Cole in her arms looking down at him lovingly
