"No, not really," Harry mumbled. "Is that weird?" He wasn't sure what to think anymore, sipping his coffee as he wondered what Elijah thought of him.

"I-I mean," He bit his lip, thinking for a moment, "Usually people get complimented once or twice or… a little more then that in their life time."

"Have you?" Harry asked. "Have you gotten complimented?" Why am I asking, of course he's gotten complimented. He's a fucking hero.

Elijah shrugged, sighing through his nose, "Yeah, a few times. Not that many of them mean it or are real in any sense of the word but yeah."

"What do you mean? Why would someone do that?" Harry asked. Well, that's surprising.

"I don't know, honestly. But… people lie. They get what they want, lie to you and go about pretending like it never happened." He looked down.

"Well, you can't get everyone to be nice and fair, can you?" Harry sighed softly, his face slowly returning to it's normal color.

"When it's majority of the people in your life and who you meet it gets tiring after a while." Elijah replied, trying not to sound so upset.

"It'll get better, I promise," Harry replied. "Everyone has their fare share of mean people, you just happened to have a bit more."

Elijah let out a half hearted laugh, "Sorry, yes, you're right. Guess I'm just uh, too sensitive. A weakness I suppose."

"No, you're not, you should feel that way about it. They aren't that nice to deal with in the beginning."

"Who'd have thought? A villain comforting a hero… I thought you would have been grinning at the thought of a hero in distress."

Harry chuckled. "I know I'm supposed to be a jackass, but I'm not a jackass all the time."

"I know that now," Elijah cracked a small smile, "Thank you. For the reassurance."

"Oh–" Harry managed a small smile. "–you're welcome."

"Do you wanna go out?" Elijah asked, blushing, "For- For breakfast, I mean."

Harry blushed as he nodded. "Sure, we just have to make sure no body sees us together, or they'll go crazy."

"I know a small place that not many people go it. Very nice and secluded from the public eye." Elijah finished his tea, placing the empty cup in the sink.

"Sounds great," Harry replied, also finishing his coffee and placing it in the sink.

"I'm just gonna go get changed. There's probably some of my brother's old clothes in the spare room if you want to change as well." Elijah smiled before he headed up the stairs.

Harry glanced at his clothes. "What do you think?" He asked, still wearing Elijah's jumper from last night. "It looks fine, but if you don't want me walking around outside in your clothes, I can change."

Elijah turned over his shoulder from the stairs, “I think you look fine as is. It’s your choice if you want to change.”

"I'm not changing, too lazy and don't really care." Harry sat down on the sofa, taking out his phone and reading the news.

Elijah nodded and hummed his reply before he disappeared to change. It didn't take long before he'd slipped on a clean pair of jeans and a nice sweater before he was downstairs again.

Harry couldn't help the small smile on his face at what was on the news. "You wanna know what's on the news?" He asked when he heard Elijah come down the stairs.

Elijah raised an eyebrow but nodded, slipping his hands into his pockets, "Sure, what are they talking about?"

"You're apparently secretly snogging one of your guy friends," Harry replied, glancing at Elijah for his reaction. Holy fuck he's so hotttt.

Elijah went beat red, skidding over to Harry and flicking his hair out his face as he did so, "I-I what? Where did… what does the article say?!"

Harry showed his phone to Elijah. "You know it's fake, right? Unless, you actually made out with someone last night."

"Of course I know it's fake," Elijah mumbled, still blushing like crazy, "I was at university and then here last night.. and I haven't been with a guy for ages, there's no way that would be legitimate. I hate the media."
