He couldn't help but smile softly as he thought about how scared she was when he first gained the same ability he was using to keep her warm.

She took his hand lacing thier fingers together

As their fingers entwined, he lifted his hand and kissed hers.

She smiled up at him

He smiled lovingly back at her, still playing with her hair with his other hand.

"what do you want to do while the kids are gone?" She asked

He hummed thoughtfully. ”I’m not sure… I would like to take you dancing sometime. Did you have any ideas?”

"the last time I danced was at a school dance in middle School" she said

”I thought it was at our wedding.” he teased kindly before kissing her again.

" oh my gosh I didn't dance with you at our wedding" she said

He shook his head. ”No… You danced with your father but I know that you didn't want to stay at the party too long.” he said calmly.

"I feel really bad I'm so sorry" Betty said

”Don’t worry about it, my love.” he comforted, kissing her forehead. ”I didn't mind that much. You were tired and we both wanted to go home.”

"I would have been fine until someone was being insensitive about my feelings"

Lysander sighed, nodding a little. ”Yeah… It seems both Henry and I have a hard time with the right words.” he apologized.

"yeah you should work on that you're married to a very sensitive person" she said

He nodded, an apologetic look in his eyes. ”I know I do… and I’m very sorry about that.”

She smiled softly

He smiled softly back at her. ”Did you have anything that you wanted to do together while the kids are with Charles?”

She shook her head

He chuckled softly and kissed her forehead. ”Just something of a second honeymoon?”

"Sounds good to me" she said

”Wonderful.” he smiled at her.

" I really can't fall asleep" she giggled

”It could just be instinct.” he shrugged, turning to look at the time. ”Before I met you, I was completely nocturnal.”

" and then when I left you couldn't sleep again?" She said

He sighed and looked at her. ”I could sleep but it was terrible. Probably the worst sleep I ever had.” he told her. ”I kept getting nightmares about you and Alec.”

"Well I'm here now" she said

"I know." he whispered, smiling softly as he held her close. "And I'm so thankful that you are."
