Taken aback by her sudden kiss, it took him a moment to fully react. Leaning in to her lips, Brad had the brightest smile he could muster up in the kiss with her. Wherever this came from, he liked it. The sweet taste of her lips was addicting, and he had missed the butterflies it gave him every time she kissed when she was gone.

(I would have responded sooner, but I was struggling to write something up.)

(I really suck at writing kiss scenes- eheh…)

The feeling of her touch drew him in more, resting one of his hands on hers. Cupping her face, he leaned in more and more; he didn't want to have to pull back just yet. This was the best thing, besides her coming back, that had happened all week. It felt like a miracle, or maybe even a dream. The whole world started to feel surreal around them, noise drowning out in the back of his mind.

Brad tried to lean in, but it was too late. The world came back as soon as the feeling of her lips were gone. The soft talk on the television was really what brought him back. "I love you." He whispered to Caroline, running his thumb over her cheek. "And I won't ever let go."

Brad smiled his softest smile as he ran his fingers through his hair to slick it back. "Good… just call me Jack. My pretty little Rose." He hummed, leaning in to peck her lips. "And yes, I have watched the Titanic. Don't judge me for it."

"Of course, babe. I'll be with you the whole time, if you'd prefer. Or we could get you a one-piece, so you could still swim." Brad offered her multiple things, wanting to just cuddle up and rest his head on her lap.

"Good. I want to just have some time with you before tonight. You'll probably be whisked away by friends." Brad joked, stretching out a bit with a smile. "So spending time now, is for the best."

"No, no, I really shouldn't… why are you getting up?" Brad asked softly, pushing off the couch to follow after her. Whenever he mentioned being tired, she got up and left. He never understood her reasoning behind it.
