Late Night Owen is just a partier. I get tired around 8:30 (yes, like a child, I know), but if I stay up late enough I go into hyper-drive. Probably my most "crack-head" form.

Thanks so much, Eris, for that rousing speech. If you're right- It's just really good to hear. I'm glad to have your testimony that this life doesn't suck as badly as it seems. I knew I could never give up, but it's really good to know that the trail isn't as bleak as it appears.

Unfortunately.
If there is a medical reason that it has to be removed, then they will do it. Other than that I think you have to get a court order in some states, or get counselling? It really depends on the region.

This is a travesty.

It's all about how you perceive yourself on the trail and how you shape the trail to you.

I'd like to be rude to the education system, or at least my school's system.

Looking back, I never really learned how to write. I was given a formula for writing good, cookie-cutter essays analyzing a passage, but I was never taught how to write a compelling story. I was told about alterations and allusions, but I was never told about neat little techniques to use in creative writing, such as sibilance. I was taught the definition of foreshadowing, but I was never taught how to use it.

I never learned how to write.

There are no creative writing classes available to me except one, which I was taken out of because of rescheduling for some fucking reason. And I'm not even sure if you learn how to write creatively.

I was taught to memorize words for kinds of words, random vocabulary—but never the art of writing. Never how to construct a well-thought-out story with characterization, character dynamics, a more-than-basic plotline, pacing, vivid description. I was taught sentence structure, but not how to effectively use it to make a reader feel a certain way—only how to make the writing less monotonous.

So, yeah, when it comes to creative stuff, school is shit at its job :)
