Rose smiled again. "Right. Could you show me when we do get there?"
Jay's smile grew, glad that she was interested. "Sure. I don't think we're finally getting off for a few weeks though. I do hope we stop before that."
"Yeah. the bus needs gas, right? When we stop for gas you gotta grab it." She exclaimed.
He chuckled. "Alright. You seem pretty over excited about seeing a bassoon."
"I have never seen a bassoon, actually, so don't mind my excitement." She smiled.
"I'll let you in on a secret: when I was younger, I would go down to the music store in my neighborhood just so I could figure out what the instruments were that people were talking about."
Rose giggled. "Oh? Did it ever help?"
Jay felt himself turn a little pink when she giggled. That's freaking adorable. He thought to himself. "A little. That's the place where I first realized that I love music."
Rose pretended not to notice when he blushed, she knew how it felt. She nodded. "Yeah, I went to an art and music school before here so I was kind of forced to play an instrument, and I got into it. A lot. Music is about 3/4 of my life right now." She grinned.
"I can agree with that. I have no social life because of how wrapped up I get in my music."
"Me. Too!" She laughed.
Ezra woke up. Seeing Lydial's pretty face next to him he sat up quickly. "Sorry. I didn't mean to." He stood up. "I er. I'm gonna go sleep in one of the bunks. Love your drawings by the way, Lydial."
Jay chuckled. "At least I'm talking to you. That's an achievement." He made the little X-Box 360 notification noise before realizing how stupid that was.
(Meow meow?)
"I have no idea, but I assume it'll have something to do with…hiking?" Dove wrinkled her nose.
(sigh, im still alone, i won't be on for a while.)
Rose blushed. He thought talking to her was an accomplishment? Wow. "Yeah." she agreed.
"Sorry." Jay appoligized. "That was weird."
"No! ..Uh.. I mean, no it wasn't. I'ts alright." She smiled.
Jay smiled back, finally noticing that blush on her cheeks. "Really? I thought it was weird."
"I have no idea, but I assume it'll have something to do with…hiking?" Dove wrinkled her nose.
“Hey, hiking is fun,” Yeon said with a smile as he looked at Dove. “Could be worse.”
Oh God he noticed my blush. Oh crap oh crap oh crap.. "Oh… uh, no." She replied.
"How worse?" she leaned against the wall, staring at the window.
Jay nodded. "Well thanks then…I uh…I guess."
"So uh… How are you liking the trip?" She asked, trying to keep the conversation going.
Yeon shrugged, thinking about it. “Not sure, but there could be so much worse things.”
"It's good so far. I hope we don't just stay inside the bus for the whole trip."
"I guess." Dove smiled at Yeon, a bit happier than she had been.
