Exactly haha. I'm PRAYING that they do the series justice because those books deserve to be turned into something of legends. And in a good way, not in a Percy Jackson Movie way. Those make me want to take a long walk on a short pier.

Rick Riordan's supposed to have a much bigger role this time I really wish I had Disney+

mostly I just pulled up all of Uncle Rick's tweets hating on it. I haven't seen them in a while, but iirc the mythology is just plain wrong, which is worth mentioning, along with the fact that on its own it makes no sense, and just…. the dialogue. But you know, I'm not allowed to have a different opinion than my parents or try to prove them wrong. So perhaps it's not worth it

more or less lol, I didn't use a direct reference but the patterning and fins are definately inspired by koi ^_^
