"Didn't you have a fling with a big American YouTuber, Kip?"

Dallas laughed awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck,

"Uh-yeah-" He mumbled through his surgery mask, the "W" mouth moving with his jaw,

"Tyler, his name was-"

"Wait wait wait, you slept with Kwite!?!?"

The room was alive with conversation as the podcast continued to run live. Using Twitch to stream a podcast may not be the brightest idea Alex has had, but I was admittedly the best way to implement fan interaction. Having real-time opinions and questions sent in from your audience really encourages others to join in and create traction. That was Jamie's favourite part, the traction. Having new people come and see why their stream was getting so much hype. He loved that he got to be a part of entertaining peoples days and introducing them to a new part of the internet, a hidden part, some would say. The conversation about Dallas' affair died down after a while, opening the floor for another question.

"Here's an interesting one," Brenden called out from the end of the table. He wasn't a Youtuber, or an influencer in any sense really, but he moderated the chat and found question for them, making him a valued part of the family.

"Have you guys heard of the Isidore brothers?"

The table was silent, not one person spoke.

They had quite a diverse cast today, consisting of musicians and artist of all sort.

Jamie laughed off the situation, shrugging,

"Can't be that bad, never heard of them."

Alex took a sip of his water, sending a glance towards Fran. He guessed she might know, her boyfriend was a commentary YouTuber, after all.

She shook her head,

"I don't know her."

"No one? Elara, you usually know about this stuff, right? Do you know them?"

@saor_illust school

"Isidore brothers?" Elara tilted her head, thinking. "…no, I don't think I've heard of them, I can do a quick Google search," she offered, pulling out her phone, which was decorated in pretty, sparkly stickers. She looked down at them, smiling a bit. The sparkles and glitter reminded her that the little things in life mattered. Which reminded her that she really didn't have that long. The smile disappeared from her face, her small body growing cold. No, Elara told herself. She wouldn't think like that. All people had an end. Hers was just shorter than usual. She just had to live her life out as best as she could.

(As Crackpipe said, yep, I was asleep)

Hosuh, though sitting quite faraway from where Elara was, noticed how her expression changed a bit. Perhaps something came to her mind and made her feel uncomfortable? He didn’t really know. What he knew was that he might wanted the focus light to shift from her.
ā€œI think I’ve met them beforeā€”ā€œ he spoke up, waving his hand nonchalantly ā€œā€”but to be perfectly honest with everyone including people at homeā€”ā€œ he looked towards the camera ā€œā€”I’m not their biggest fan even if I’ve met them only once,ā€ he mentioned.
Not the best answer someone could give, but hey, at least people would be focused on him now. He hoped so. Now to give someone else the chance to speak… he looked around and settled on one of the other Asians in the room just… because he felt like doing so. When he looked at that person it made him wonder internally how he was able to get more followers than such a cutesy person. Whatever. That wasn’t important right now.
ā€œWhat about you Jax?ā€

@megandawnkorain

Jax looked up at Hosuh, plucked out of his daydreaming. He quickly recalled the conversation and schooled his expression into a more familiar one for the audience. "Uh… yeah I think so. I don't know them personally, but I tried to reach out to them a few times." He nodded slightly. He hadn't been asking for any collaboration or anything, and yet he was met with hostility from the brothers. "Mainly for networking reasons. They never responded, though." He added on as an afterthought, choosing to lie about the brothers' reactions to him.

Turning to the girl next to him, he smiled wide and bumped her playfully with his shoulder. "How about you, Lily? You know the illustrious Isidore brothers?" Jax asked his best friend with a hint of sarcasm, running his fingers through his dyed hair.

@MusicElle-is-here

Lily smiled as well, trying not to roll her eyes. She’d heard of the brothers and didn’t particularly like them, but she was the type of person who believed that she had to wait to actually get to know them to pass judgement. ā€œI know of them, but we haven’t interacted,ā€ she responded, which was true. She shrugged. She didn’t want to actually anything bad about someone on camera, which was how she had very little beef with anyone.

Lily glanced at Elara on her other side, noticing her expression. She hated it when her girlfriend got upset like that, because she thought Elara deserved the world. She took one of Elara’s hands in her own, making her own expression unreadable in spite of her mounting sadness. Lily was an almost aggressively positive person sometimes, so she would keep her head up. She glanced around, looking for someone who hadn’t answered yet.

ā€œAlex, what do you think of them?ā€

Alex would raise his head and looked confused "Huh? Oh..I spaced out..oh the brothers? I did a Video with them..on-" His phone got a notification. He'd look and say "Crap..Another $1000..Oh anyways!" He'd sigh "I've done one vid with them..a long time ago..maybe..three To four years ago..? I don't remember.. anyways..-" His phone would ring "Oh..It's Jane..Let me take this call for now..um..I guess..Akira can talk.." He'd say going to the back of the room answering the call.

@SpookyScarySnoteleks group

Akira shrugged, her black and blue hair bouncing. "I don't really know much about them, but I've heard about them a lot." Akira had heard about them, not all good things. She fiddled with the pair of headphones around her neck. "I might have watched some of their videos." Akira rested her elbows on the table, propping her head up with her hands. "I've been considering contacting them for a collab, but I'm not sure yet." Akira giggled, tucking her hair behind her ear. Apparently, her viewers liked her laugh. She couldn't see how, but then again, she didn't know her viewers.
Akira lifted her head. "Seven, what about you?"

@Anemone eco

Seven looked up from his phone at Akira. "What are we talking about? The Is… Isreal… Isekai… oh whatever. Those brothers?" He shrugged his shoulders, looking back down at his phone. "I've met them before. Didn't care for them," he said, running a free hand through his floofy, black hair. "Ask me and I say they were annoying. They just marched into the camera shot during the filming of one of my videos." His face pulled into a scowl as he thought about the incident. "Those assholes, talking about some 'we'll make you famous' crap. What in world were they at that skating rink for anyway? That was so freakin' hard to edit out."

He looked up from his phone and then realized that there was an audience listening to his ranting. "Whoops…" he mumbled, then returning to his normal volume. "Well, case in point, I don't like them. What's your opinion on them, Brandi?"

Deleted user

Brandi was off camera, making their presence known by peaking up and saying. "I have no idea who they are, I don't do much outreach guys, you know that." They sounded a bit sheepish too, they mostly kept to their small group of friends and left all the actual people talking to their sister, who had her own channel, a baking one. "I could probably ask Gi Gi, but I think she's in the kitchen so, no dice. Who are they anyhow?" Brandi slid into view, their face covered by a mask. They did this whenever they had to appear on camera, they respected their privacy.

"Uh-"
Brenden typed away on his laptop, presumably looking the boys up.
"Some Egyptian YouTubers. Says their young and have a large following," he choked in surprise,
"2 million!"
Alex whistled, obviously impressed. Jamie tilted his head in thought,
Surely, if they were so popular, would he have heard about them sooner?
"Are they based in England?"
"Yeah, or so says famous birthdays."
Brenden stopped scrolling through Google and let out a concerned "huh."
"What is it?
"Says here their girlfriends went missing."
"Is it fake?" Dallas asked, slightly concerned. It was a common occurrence in the social media scene to fake missing people for clout, and having these boys randomly thrown at them seemed suspect.
"I don't think so," Brenden mumbled,
"Say here there's a full fledged police investigation."
He looked up at Dallas,
"Main suspects and all."

"Wow, so what are we supposed to do about it?"
Brenden pulled a face,
"I don't know man, probably just looking for an opinion."
Jamie took the awkward silent pause to move the conversation on.
"Well! Thank you for the question, lovely Twitter person, might have to look into that one." He cleared his throat
"Brenden! What's next then?"

The podcast whined down and soon the finish their broadcast, everyone sat in one room talking amongst themselves. Jamie took a seat between Elara and Jaxxon. He adressed the group,

"So! Now that we're off camera, opinions on those weirdo brothers?"

@saor_illust school

Elara looked up, having been idly doodling something on the back of her hand. "Oh- yeah, that's really weird. I don't know they just give off, a vibe that something's off about them."

She chuckled softly. "I haven't really been paying that much attention- you know how I am- I started to doodle something halfway through that discussion about them haha."

Not having anything else to add to the conversation, Elara returned to her drawing, although she was disappointed that she only had to add the final touches to it before she was done.

ā€œI barely know them, but as I saidā€”ā€œ Hosuh gave a slight shrug ā€œā€”I don’t like themā€

Part of it was maybe because they broke one of his favorite guitars when they were recording together. Honestly, that had to have left a large prejudice in Hosuh. They were way too comfortable with themselves being… well, themselves on other people’s channels and surprise, surprise, that number of 2 million subscribers didn’t equate to the number of good responses Hosuh received on that video with the brothers.

It’d be great if they would pay for the guitar. That was really all he needed…

Though, he did have a secret he didn’t want anyone to know regarding the brothers. Or more specifically, one of their girlfriends. No one needs to know that. Absolutely no one.

@megandawnkorain

"They're assholes," Jax said through gritted teeth. "I emailed them trying to do some networking and they treated me like I asked one of their girlfriends to marry me. I didn't appreciate it."
