"For not telling me, you had such cute friends." Lotus laughed, smoothing down the front of her shirt and skirt slowly as she sat there. "I've been looking for a boyfriend, and you forgot to mention you had a few options down in LA."
"I've dated them both" she said
Thomas flushed more at the mention of his and Caroline's previous relationship. "But I'm assuming you have more attractive friends, down there on the beach." Lotus insisted, twisting the loose black hair around her finger while she spoke. "Caroline is on the cheer squad, she knows basically all the football players." Brad hummed, intertwining his fingers with Caroline's.
She smiled at Brad kissing his cheek softly but quickly
Brad smiled, leaning over to nuzzle her cheek. "Why are you being shy? I'm sure Lotus doesn't mind you showing a little love." Brad purred, holding onto her hand tightly in his own. Lotus giggled a bit, looking over to Thomas with a flirty smile.
"where's Rania-rae at" she asked referring to her twin sister, her and Rania-rae were extremely close
Lotus turned from Thomas to look at Caroline. "She's took the night off with her boyfriend. The two had a date night tonight. I get next week off." She explained, getting up from the table. "I should get back to work, enjoy your soup!" Lotus hummed out, waving as she walked away.
"dates are overrated" she sighed. She hadn't seen her cousin in a few years and missed her dearly
Brad seemed to stiffen, pulling back from her with a slight frown. "Oh? Why's that?" He asked softly, glancing over to Thomas. He seemed to be in a much dreamier state than he had before, starring after Lotus had left.
She snapped her fingers I'm front of Thomas "aye buddy she's in Vegas you live in la" she said
Thomas blinked back into reality, looking over to Caroline. "A guy can dream, can't he?" Thomas retorted, his gaze catching sight of her as she came around the corner to take more orders. Brad rolled his eyes, standing up from his seat. "I'm heading back to the room." He said sort of coolly, before slowly starting off.
"Bye" she said closing her eyes clenching her fists
"You seem on edge, Caro. What's wrong?" Thomas asked softly, dropping his gaze from lotus to Caroline. "Did I say, or do something wrong?" He continued to question, watching Brad leave looking less than happy.
She stayed quiet for a few minutes until her eyes snapped open "Duck!"she said and just like that shots went off in all directions
Thomas had ducked down, pulling Caroline with him under the table. He was alarmed, yet not terrified. "Who's there?" He asked in a whisper, trying not to make any more of a scene than the gun shots firing off.
"Jane and her gang" she said pulling a gun out of her boot
"Hold on, if they know we're here we need to get out. We have a chance to go stop the drug dealing while they're looking for us." Thomas pointed out, peering under the table cloth as he watched multiple pairs of boots walk by. Though no voices were heard yet.
"you have to go they'll see me the second I walk out "she said handing him his gun she took the ring off her finger I'm put it in Thomas's hand closing his fingers then she got out from underneath the table and smiled wildly " hello dear sister"
Thomas went to argue, but it was too late as she climbed out from under the table. Jane whipped around he smile spreading across her lips at seeing her sister. “Hey sissy, how are you?” Jane asked sarcastically, seeming a little surprised to see Caroline. All around, the gang held their guns up on Caroline.
"oh just peachy Janey!" She said her physco genes slipping through
“Oh just lovely, it’s a surprise to see you here. I’m assuming you’re here to shoot me?” Jane asked, signaling the gang member to go back to their previous positions. She was insane, but still knew how to reason with people.
"of course not Sissy and there's no gun on me" she said patting herself down
“What about your friends? It seems stupid to come alone.” Jane hummed clicking her tongue as she stepped up to Caroline. If you didn’t know her, you would think Jane to be quite pretty. On the exterior, Jane had a gorgeous figure and lovely dark hair reaching pass her mid back, almost to her hips when straightened. As of the moment, she had it pulled up into a tight bun making her face more visible. Including her icy blue eyes. That was the only thing that gave her away. Her blood thirsty and lustful blue eyes. If you stared too long, you’d be haunted by the unnatural color her eyes were. “No Braddie boo?”
"nope no Brad no Lilli I'm by myself unarmed" she said
“I doubted you’d bring Lily. We both know she’s rather useless when it comes to fighting.” Jane retorted, rolling her bright eyes as she stepped up to her. She cupped both of her cheeks, seeming to show a little bit of sympathy. “How’s daddy doing? Still hitting on you?” Jane hummed, raising her brow.
"as always you were always his favorite living up to his legacy" she sighed
“Oh come on darling, I don’t torture people for no reason. Father is more insane than I’ve ever been.” Jane insisted, running her fingers through Caroline’s hair. “I know how to stay sober. I’ve never had a taste for alcohol anyways. But that’s besides the point.” Jane hummed, seeming incredibly close to Caroline’s face. “See, I miss this. When you weren’t too busy with your Braddie-Boo to hang out with your older sister. But even if I offered for you to come with me, you’d brush me off.”
" I miss you Jane do we both got that crazy spark inside us and it wasn't me who stopped hanging out with you you're the one who stopped hanging out with me I texted you I called you you never answered me" she said
“Come on, don’t lie to yourself. You don’t want to hang around someone like me. I’m a psychopath, and you don’t want people to know that.” Jane insisted, knowing people all around were watching them in silence. “Though this is a talk best spoken in private. A better question I have for you, is what you’re doing in Vegas. It seems more than a coincidence you’re here. You’re still in school until the end of this year. It’s a long drive for a day trip.”
"Jane you're my sister and I'm going to protect you now give me your phone so I can see sign my name on those drug dealings instead of yours" she whispered the last part
