Yeon arched a brow and looked at Dove. “Right now?”

"Don't try to talk me out of it. This is one of the rare times when I'm feeling confident." that sick feeling came back again. "Aaaand you talked me out of it."

“Ah, come on, chica! You were so close,” Yeon said with a laugh.

"I'm Rose." She said, flipping her blonde braid behind her back and grinning.

"Jay." He said it slowly so he wouldn't do the strange beatbox stutter he did when he tried to say his name.

"Not that close." Dove climbed to the top of her claimed bunk.

Yeon leaned against the side of her bunk, elbows on the cot. “Hey, what do you think this is going to be like? The camp and all?”

Rose smiled. "Hi Jay. Was there a reason you were staring at me?" She asked, laughing.

"I…no. No..no no…reason." Jay responded, unsure why he actually had been staring at her. "I swear I'm not a pervert or anything…"

//i feel so word for the opposite of ignored, spoken sarcastically

Roselen laughed. "It's fine."

Jay smiled at her. "So…what instrument do you play?"

"Violin. And I sing, but not often. How about you?"

"I can sing sometimes, but I play piano and bassoon. The bassoon doesn't really matter though. You can't play many songs on it." Jay shrugged.

Shoot, Rose thought. I know I'm a musical kid and all, but what the heck is a bassoon? She frowned a little and thought. Suddenly she looked up. "Um.. There are just so many instruments, you know? Could you maybe explain to me what a bassoon is?"

Jay ran his fingers through his hair while he tried to think of how to describe it. "It's…a woodwind instrument. Usually plays on bass and tenor clefs. I would show you, but it's in the storage compartment under the bus. I figured I wouldn't have to play it on the way there."
