Cole’s eyes stayed closed as he leaned against her.

Lysander hung up the phone and walked back over to his family. ”It’ll take him a while but grandpa is on his way.” he smiled.

She held him close and gave Lysander a loving smile.

Lysander softly kissed her forehead before sitting in the chair next to the bed and placing his fingers on Cole’s wrist.

She smiled and brushed her fingers against Lysanders cheek

He smiled at her and leaned into her touch as someone knocked at the door.

¨come in¨ she said as she looked at Lysander Lovingly

Evan opened the door and Laura-Beth raced past him, almost knocking him over.

”Mama!”

Lysander smiled and picked up their daughter, placing her on his lap.

Henry chuckled at the little girl as he entered the room. ”Hey, guys.” he greeted softly.

¨Hey¨ she grunted

”How are you feeling?” Evan asked, closing the door behind him once Tyler and Asher came into the room.

¨I´m Hungry Really hungry¨ she siad.

”Anything in particular sound good?” Evan asked with a kind smile.

Laura-Beth reached gently towards Cole, curiously.

Lysander smiled at the two kids. ”Laura-Beth, this is your little brother; Cole.”

She looked at Evan ¨I mean I´m hungry¨

”Oh!” Evan realized, just holding back from smacking himself in the face. ”Here.” he offered walking over to the side of the bed that was free and offered her his wrist.

”Hi, Cole.” Laura-Beth said softly.

Cole made a small cooing sound.

She looked at him ¨I don´t mean to hurt you but Lysander can I have your blood?¨ she asked looking at her husband

Lysander looked up at her, a little embarrassed but nodded. ”If I have enough left.” he told her as he held up his wrist. ”I don't know how much I have since… Well, since I tried to help heal you after the attack.”

¨Ok then I´ll wait¨ she said pushing his west away.

”Betty, it's fine.” Lysander told her. ”If you're that hungry, go ahead. I’ll just have to go for a quick hunt once we get everyone back to the hotel.”

”Alright.” Lysander sighed. ”If you’re sure.”

Evan cleared his throat softly. ”Offer still stands if you need to.” he reminded her gently.

She sighed she grabbed his wrist and bit it her eyes rolling back in satisfaction at the taste of blood

Evan smiled a little and held still as she took his blood.

Lysander leaned back in his chair, a tiny bit jealous but he really didn't mind.

She pulled away blood on her lips and rolling down her chin she let out a breath

Laura-Beth tilted her head slightly as she looked at her mom and saw the blood.

”Feel better?” Evan asked with a small chuckle as he gently wiped the blood off Betty's chin.

The doctor and three nurses rushed in "we need everyone to leave"

Evan stood up in surprise, hiding his wrist behind his back.

”Why? What's wrong?” Lysander asked, holding Laura-Beth close.

Betty held her hand to her stomach and groaned

"There are twins inside of her" she said

”What? How?” Lysander asked in shock. Pregnancy usually didn't work that way. If she was going to have twins then she would have still been in labor after Cole was born.

"we don't know' she said

Tyler looked at the boys " let's go"

”Here. Take Laura-Beth.” Lysander said, handling her to Henry. ”I’m staying with my wife.”

Henry shrugged and accepted the little girl in his arms.

”Good luck.” Evan whispered to Betty, quickly kissing her forehead before leaving with the others.

"I need you to go ly ok?" She said
