"I'm A bad girlfriend" she mumbled

Brad froze in his tracks, lifting his head up to look at her. In all honesty, he looked completely puzzled at her simple phrase. Taking a moment to process her words, he pulled their bags out and set them in the back seat. Once that was done, he stepped up to where she was sitting and leaned down placing a sweet kiss on her lips. "Why are you lying?" Brad asked in a mumble against her lips, not wanting to pull away just yet. "Why would you even conceive something in your imagination like that?"

"Because it's the truth I can't even keep my boyfriend happy" she said tears rolling down her cheeks more

Pulling back from her lips, he still had a perplexed look spread across his face. Cupping her cheeks, he ran his thumb over her cheek bone to wipe away her rolling tears. "I'm plenty happy baby-doll. Why would you think I wasn't? Is it because of the nickname thing earlier?" Brad asked her softly, pressing a gentle kiss to her forehead as he awaited her reply. "Because I can explain, and things will make a lot more sense."

She shook her head looking at her feet crying

Frowning softly, he tilted her chin back up so she was looking up at him. "Then what is it? I'm sure I can explain whatever it is. Just seeing your face makes me happy, why do you think you could do anything to contradict that?" Brad asked her softly, assuming he'd get another shake of her head as a reply. He just really wished she would talk to him, instead of pushing him away to leave him to figure it out.

"I'm Getting Lung Surgrey In Three weeks Its Life threatening and there is a fifty fifty chance I won't survive it" she said

Brad had his brow furrowed, a slight frown pulling on his lips. "Yeah, I know." He said simply, a heavy sigh escaping his lips. "I heard you and Thomas talking about it on the way up. I wasn't going to say anything until you did." Brad leaned back down, pressing a soft kiss to her lips. "How are you feeling about it, right now? What's going through your head?"

"If I die I want you to carry on act as if I never existed Alright? That's whats going through my head" she said

This completely shook up what was going through his own mind, causing him to stumble back just a bit. "I-I couldn't Caroline… You know I wouldn't be able to. Physically or mentally." Brad whispered to her, leaning on the car for support. He felt nauseous and dizzy all of a sudden, everything was seeming fuzzy and unclear.

she cupped his cheeks "it's ok baby I don't plan on going anywhere Ok? I Love You So Much Baby" she said"I'm not gonna leave you I'm right here" she said planting kisses on his cheek

He couldn't keep soft tears from rolling down his cheeks, as he attempted to hold himself together by a thread. At her words, he tried to speak but all his words kept getting stuck in his throat. So he nodded instead. Loosely he held onto her wrists, running his thumb up and down just so he could feel her skin against his. He couldn't lose her. She was just too important, he wasn't sure anyone else could take her place if she left. This was so much more to him, than a stupid teenage love story. This was real.

"I Love you Brad Hoax" she said. Caroline did love Brad More than she had ever loved anyone she never wanted to lose him. She needed him in her life or she'd fall apart. He was her light her pillow her net her everything.

Pulling back from her, he had an incredibly weak smile on his lips. Tears spotted his dark skin, giving it a shined tone when the light hit his face. "I love you too, a lot Caroline Woods." He whispered, pulling the door open for her and holding her hands in his. "I love you more than you can imagine, and there's nothing you can do to change my mind. I promise you that." He whispered, leading her out of the car over to the sidewalk.

she leaned her head on his chest "I Promise not to leave if you don't " she said with a shaky breath fresh tears rolling down her cheeks as she held onto him like he would disappear in a matter of seconds

Smiling weakly, he pressed a kiss to the top of her head. "Don't make promises you can't keep… but I'll stay. Forever, I promise." He whispered to her, pulling back from her just a bit. "This is exactly what I wanted," What he was talking about, was a mystery to most. "I promise I won't leave on my own accords. Ever. I'll be by your side everywhere we go." He told her, sliding one hand into the pocket of his leather jacket as he spoke.

"What do you mean This is exactly what you wanted what do you mean by that?" she asked placing her hand on his cheek her eyes searching his.

Smiling softly, he pulled his hand back out of his pocket. Slowly, he fiddled with a small box in his hand. "Everything is perfect. Including you. Just being here, letting me be here." He continued to list off things, not sure where he was going with it. "But that's besides the point." He sucked in a deep breath as he looked into her eyes. "You're the most spectacular girl I've ever met. I'm being 100% honest here."

she smiled softly at him, at his kind words, but didn't say anything in return as she waited for him to finish what he was going to say and just looked into his eyes with nothing but pure love

“You’re the thing that keeps me together, and as you saw last night, I’d probably be torn in two if you weren’t around.” Brad whispered, giving her a soft smile. “And I don’t know what more to say…” Brad sighed, trying to keep from getting by awkward. Slowly he kneeled down in front of her. “Where do I start? You’re just the most spectacular and gorgeous girl I know.”

She looked down at him her breath getting caught in her throat as he kneeled before her "Brad…I don't know what to say" she breathed out

"Then don't, you don't have to say a word." He told her, pressing a soft kiss to the back of her hand with a smile. "You just mean everything to me. You deserve so much better than me, but here we are. 270 miles away from home, and I'm on my knees about to ask you the most important thing I could ever ask." Laughing weakly, he sucked in a deep breath trying to relax his nerves. "I really don't know how to do this, I guess I should just ask…"

"Brad. . If your not ready then don't I'll wait for you forever how long it takes" She said "I Love You"

"That's the thing," He paused taking in a second deep breath. "I don't know how long I have. I don't want to wimp out, and never get to tell you how much I love you." His fears and insecurities started to flood in, so he shut the floodgates before they got too deep in the water. "So, I need to do this." He nodded, huffing just a bit. "Caroline Woods, I don't think you know how many times I've tried to do this. I don't think I'll ever tell you. I only want you to remember this moment. I love you with all my heart, as far as I can tell, with everything I am too. I know we're young, but I really do believe I found the perfect girl for me. Would you, do the honors of becoming my other half, as Mrs. Caroline Hoax, and marry me?"

She smiled that smile of hers "Yes..Yes! Yes Of course Yes!" she said as tears brimmed the sedge of her eyes in pure joy and happiness.

Standing up with his own bright smile, he pulled the gorgeous diamond ring from the small black box. Sliding it back on her finger, he pulled her into a hug before pressing his lips to hers. "I love you, with everything I have." He mumbled against her lips, his kissing going across her cheeks and nose as well.

"I Love You" she muttered before crashing her lips to his She kissed him with a kiss full of Love and compassion she closed her eyes savoring the way his lips felt against hers the way they tasted against hers She loved Brad and she would never stop for however long she had to live.

Scooping her up, he held on to her with one of her legs on either side of him. "I love you most," He mumbled against her lips, leaning in more and more as they stood there. The world seemed to melt away. Until he heard the voices of others, some he hadn't heard before. Though he didn't bother to pull back to check.

She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him again on the lips then his forehead then his nose then his cheek then his lips again. She sighed in content against his lips.

Eventually he pulled back to catch his breath, his chest heaving as a grin broke out on his lips. "Do you believe me? That I really love you?" Brad asked her softly, looking up to her as she was held above him. "Or do I have to show you in other ways?"
