Jude climbed out of his car, sighing at the everyday tourist-traffic as he locked his car. "All good?" He asked Nyx with a smile, reminding himself that this was one of the busiest streets in the city.

Nyx nodded a little bit. "Good." he replied. "Now let's go." his crabbiness of a few minutes ago was gone, thankfully, replaced by his normal curious, happy mood.

"O-kay," Jude smiled, nodding his head at the shops along the street as he walked to his side, "We'll walk around, and go inside if anything catches your eye?"

Nyx nodded a little bit. "Okay." he replied with a bright little smile, looking up at Jude for a moment. He reached out and took Jude's hand.

Jude smiled faintly at Nyx's hand in his, moving along the long street of mini-attractions and tourists who didn't know how to properly 'walk.'

Nyx walked with Jude, a soft little smile on his face as he looked around the street, looking into the shop windows curiously.

"Ooh," Jude quietly hummed as they neared a Louis Vuitton storefront advertising their spring ready-to-wear collection. That'd be sure to burn up some of dad's money.

Nyx hadn't really said anything yet, just looked at everything, taking it in and considering it.

Jude wandered alongside Nyx, holding his hand as they passed bodegas, shopping stores, and hole-in-the-wall restaurants, smiling at the tall buildings that bordered the street.

Nyx kept looking around, observing all the people and everything. He was smiling softly.

Jude glanced over at Nyx, smiling softly as they walked further down, passing the Diamond District. "See anything?" He prompted.

Nyx shrugged. "I don't know." He replied, looking up at Jude with a soft smile, holding onto his hand.

"M'kay, just tell me if anything looks even mildly interesting; there are lots of shops," Jude said, nodding at the colorfully decorated store windows.

He nodded a little bit. "Okay. I will." he replied. He kissed Jude's cheek softly, then went back to looking around the storefronts.

Jude smiled and nodded faintly, quietly sighing as they passed designer stores and umbrella-shaded hot dog stands; an unironic representation of the city on every street corner.

Nyx finally pulled him over to a store. "Can we look in here?" he asked, looking up at Jude, then back at the storefront.

"Mhm," Jude nodded with a quick glance into the windows, "Yeah. Let's do it."

Nyx nodded, and headed inside, pulling Jude with him. He looked around the store. "Jude, I don't know what size I wear." he said after a moment.

"Just try whatever seems about right," Jude said, smiling as he reached out to feel the sleeve of a cashmere sweater. He nodded over at the fitting rooms once he spotted them, "–You can try 'em in there."

Nyx nodded a little bit, and started picking out some clothes, holding them on one arm.

Jude smiled curiously at Nyx's chosen clothes, wondering if he'd have a distinct style or completely random.

There wasn't really a discernible style, except that they tended to be long sleeved and unpatterned.

Jude wandered around the shop, smiling as he came across some animal-print accessories. "Hey," He chuckled, holding one up, "–Belt animal belts."

Nyx laughed softly, looking at the belts. "But they aren't all the original belt animals." he said, looking at Jude.

"No, not all of them," Jude nodded, putting it back on the rack, "They're close enough, anyway."

He was smiling. "Yes, but i don't think I need a belt. Do I?" he asked, looking at Jude, then at the belts again, shaking his head a little bit.

"If you want," Jude shrugged with a little smile, touching the stiff material of the belts, "The leather ones are nicer, if you do."

"No thanks." Nyx replied, shaking his head and moving on to look at other things. He had grabbed, by now, three pairs of pants and four shirts.

Jude left the belts and wandered around the rest of the store, reaching out to occasionally feel the material of something soft.

Nyx finished picking out clothes. "Can I go try them on now?" He asked curiously, looking at Jude and raising his eyebrows a little bit.
