Pulling back he gave her a tight frown. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you."

She nodded "yeah I know" she said

Sucking in a deep breath, he took her hand in his, looking into her eyes. "This wasn't my ideal way to do this, but I can't really do it when planned anymore." Brad mumbled to her.

She looked away from him tears rolling down her cheeks

"Hey, come on." He whispered, tilting her chin back to him. "Don't feel bad. I just… I think it's important that I do this now over later.''

" if your just doing this to make me feel better to keep me from hurting myself again-" she started

"No, of course not sweetheart. I wanted to do this tomorrow night…" He mumbled sheepishly, slipping his hand into the pocket of his leather jacket.

"well I'll be in Vegas" she said

"I- Vegas?" He asked with a raised brow. "I- you're gong to Las Vegas? By yourself?"

"no Thomas is going with me I would have asked you but I'm going there to do with my sister and after what happened last time I didn't think it'd be a good idea… I just want you to be safe"

"And I want you to be safe Caroline. Going after your sister with a boy who's never fought before, is dangerous." He told her, yanking his hand out of his pocket. "I didn't know Jane was coming last time, I didn't expect it. I can protect myself. Please, let me go with you."

"all right… But Thomas is coming with us" she said

"I wasn't trying to stop him from coming." He hummed softly, pressing a kiss to her forehead. "Why don't we head to bed? We won't get much sleep, but little is better than none."

She nodded starting to stand up

Slipping his arm over her shoulders, he pressed a soft kiss to her cheek. "Come on baby-doll, you need some sleep."

"I'm going to rinse the blood off and I'll be in bed" she said cupping his cheek and pecking his lips

"Can I help?" He asked her softly, pulling back from her just a bit.

She nodded" if you want to" she said

"I just want to make sure you're alright." He whispered, taking her hand in his own. "And that you won't hurt yourself."

" why don't you head to bed and I'll join you in a few minutes" she said

"I-I thought you said I could help?" He asked her softly, running his fingers through her hair.

"I'm just going to jump in the shower for a few minutes"" she said

Sighing softly, he nodded knowing he couldn't argue with her. "Please don't hurt yourself. Come to bed soon, princess." He whispered, settling a soft kiss on her forehead.

She nodded and as soon as he left she stripped getting in the shower and rinsed herself off cleaning herself of blood she got out changing into short shorts and one of Brad's shirts

Brad was sitting on the edge of the bed, half falling asleep. Though he wasn't, because he wanted to wait for Caroline. He was worried she was going to leave again, without him.

She walked into thier room and crawled into bed her cuts there but not so bloody

Feeling the pressure shift on the bed, he snapped his eyes open and smiled softly. "Hey princess, did you have a good shower?" Brad asked in a yawn.

Caroline nodded gently getting under the covers

Brad slipped down as well, resting a hand over her waist. "Glad to hear that honey, you tired yet?" He asked softly, resting his head on her shoulder.
