"What did I say? I just wanted to make sure you slept…" He whispered again, getting out of the bed. "Baby doll, please."

"I'm gonna leave and Go sleep with Thomas" she said

"I- you're joking. You're telling me you're leaving me, and then you're going to go sleep with Thomas?" Brad asked her, tears stinging at his eyes. "You've got to be joking."

" not like that" she said " I'm just going to go crash at his place" she said

"I don't care what you meant. I just care that you're leaving, and you weren't even going to say goodbye." His frustration was starting to break through, his voice breaking down.

"well it seem like you didn't care"she growled

"I did. I just wanted to not start crying in front of you, alright? I wanted to pretend you weren't going away, and just deal with it in the morning." Brad snapped, pulling back from her. "I can't do it Caroline. I can't keep myself together."

"why does everyone care God damnit I wish everything would just go away" she said

"You just wish I'd go away?" He asked her, his jaw tightening and tears running down his face. "Fine. I'll go away." He muttered, getting up and pulling a small box out of his leather jacket hanging on the back of a chair. Tossing it onto the bed, he began to walk out of the room, yanking the jacket on over his pajama shirt. "So badly you want me to leave, I will. Just know that I loved you, and planned to try and marry you." He spat, tears running down his face as he passed her to head out the door.

She grabbed on to his wrist "Brad!" She cried

Brad stopped in his steps, not turning to face her. "You want me to leave. Why are you trying to stop me?" He asked weakly, hand on the door frame. "You seemed to be in a rush as well."

She closed her eyes and dropped her hand "I'm sorry" she barley whispered before running down the hall locking herself in the bathroom

He knew what she was doing, and tried to collect himself before going to try and stop her. Coming up to the bathroom door, he slid down to the floor leaning against it. "Baby doll, please… don't."

"Go away…leave me alone" she cried

"Come on baby, I was upset. I'm not mad at you… I still love you." He whispered to her, trying to hold himself together. "I don't want you to leave, please don't hurt yourself."

"No you don't you don't love me I'm.a waste of space the minute I walk out you'll leave me like everybody else" she cried

"Princess, I was leaving because you wanted me to. I don't want to leave." He tried to explain, leaning against the door further. "Please don't make me."

She sobbed the other side of the door

"Baby doll, I love you and always will. I can prove it to you." He hummed softly, pushing up off the door and going back to their room.

She closed her eyes digging her nails into her palms and her legs and her arms and neck and cheeks making cuts

Coming back, he knocked on the door softly. "Sweet thang, can you open the door?" He asked softly, hand resting on the handle. "Please?"

She sighed unlocking the door she leaned against the wall next to the door

Giving her a soft frown, he held his arms out to her to pull her into a hug. "I'm sorry baby doll. I love you so much."

She turned to the side cuts all over her

Brad's frown tightened all the more. "Sweetheart, why did you hurt yourself?" He asked softly, running his fingers over her cuts.

"I deserve it" she muttered

"No, you don't." Brad told her softly, pressing a few soft kisses on her. "You don't deserve any of this crap."

She nodded " I'm a waste of space" she said

"You're not a waste of space. Not mine. You are what keeps me together Caroline." He whispered cupping her cheek.

She winced as he touched a scar
