"oh ok, what's a neko?" he asked, tucking the blanket around Jackson again and hugging him close
"oh ok, what's a neko?" he asked, tucking the blanket around Jackson again and hugging him close
"Basically it's a cat person. Usually a girl although guys can be nekos too. You know, paws, whiskers, ears, and a tail along with the mannerisms."
"Oh, I see. They kinda sound cute." he said with a laugh, tilting his head as he tried to imagine a cat-person.
"They mostly are. They tend to be kind of innocent and naive but also can go into heat which isn't fun for anyone, trust me."
"how do you know?" Lo looked down at Jackson with a small laugh "aw, were you with a cat-person?" he laughed softly
"…maybe…kind of…okay, yes, I was." He blushed bright red. "I'm not anymore, clearly, but some of the mannerisms stuck around."
he chuckled softly "don't worry, I won't judge. I've had my fair share of…odd…relationships. plus, I think it's cute that at least the mannerism stayed with you." he stroked his hair and booped his nose
"No one ever thinks it's cute. They just think it's weird or annoying." He snuggled into him, pouting slightly.
"well, I do think it is a bit weird but I find it adorable so I'm fine with it." He kissed his head and rolled on his side, hugging Jackson close as he shifted to his side
He smiled a little and cuddled into him. "You're too sweet to me. I swear, all that sugar you consume just goes straight to your personality."
"Probably, that would explain a lot." he laughed and tilted his head with a soft smile "why wouldn't I have a reason to not be sweet to you darlin? You've shown me nothing that doesn't deserve to be loved about you."
I can think of a pretty good one… And much like how Jay would get, his mark started burning like all hell. He hissed in pain, grabbing his shoulder where his mark was.
Logan looked down at Jackson in worry, his smile gone, replace by a slight from "love, what's wrong?" he rested his hand on Jackson's but not moving it, "are you alright?"
"My shoulder…it burns…" He knew the risk he was taking with this but he also knew he didn't have much of a choice. He couldn't keep lying to him.
He looked around frantically before as gently as possible shifting out from under him "sit up if you can while I grab some ice from the fridge. She stood, and ran into the kitchen, frantically getting a bag of frozen pees and a glass of ice cubes from the fridge. "Where is burning?" he asked, kneeling down beside him
Moment of truth… "Right here." He pulled up his sleeve to reveal his mark which was glowing red and therefore causing the burning. He'll probably just think it's a tattoo.
Logan gasped softly at the siht of the marking? he didn't really know what to call it. He had seen something similar on Raz' wrist as well as a matching one on the base of Jay's neck but he had always assumed that it was a couples thing. Now seeing a similar marking on Jackson's skin, he wondered if it was something more, especially since the marking itself seemed to burn instead of a normal tatto where the skin around it turned red and the tattoo itself remained black. He shook off the uneasy feeling and took one of the ice cubes, starting the gently rub it around the marking in a slow circle, letting it melt slightly
He sighed in relief as the burning subsided, the angry redness fading. "Alright, you have questions. Don't try and tell me that you don't, I know you do. Just ask, I'll answer honestly."
Logan continued the process until all of the ice cubes were gone from the cup. "is it a tattoo?" he asked softly, wiping away the water with a towel before wrapping the pees and handing them over to Jackson and scooting back up onto the couch
Here we go… "No. No it isn't. I know what you're thinking, Jay and Raz have matching ones, you thought it was a couple's thing. Well, it's not a couple's thing. It's a demon thing." He took a deep breath. "Jay and I are contractors. We make deals with people in exchange for their souls. It just so happens that Jay and Raz fell in love. That part was a complete coincidence, that wasn't supposed to happen but it did and it worked out. Jay's been dead for almost 13 years. I've been dead for almost 12." He sighed. "Raz didn't want you to know because he wasn't sure how you'd react and Jay made me promise not to take a contract with you because Raz doesn't want you to end up in hell like he will."
Logan sat back as he listened to Jackson. He wanted to laugh at the ridiculousness he had told him. Demon's weren't real, nether was coming back from the dead. "alright, that would make a really cute fanfiction for the two but I don't think they're gonna go to hell for matching tattoos." he shook his head and stood, "everyone can be a little demon if you push them hard enough." he teased, getting an uneasy feeling in his stomach "getting matching tattoos is a little far if you really want to sell the whole demonic thing to people but its a nice touch."
He sighed heavily. "You want proof? I'll give you proof." He summoned his power, a dark purple in color and his eyes blacked out. "You want to not believe me? Fine. But don't doubt what I say, I mean it."
Logan slowly turned around, frowning. He looked around the room, hoping that this was some elaborate prank from the three instead of what it actually was. When he couldn't pinpoint where the voice was coming from, his eyes finally rested on Jackson. He brought a hand to his mouth to stifle a gasp and backed away until he was in the hall where he bolted to his room, locking the door and sliding to the floor, covering his ears and squeezing his eyes tight
He let his power fade and sank to the floor, burying his face in his hands. Why why WHY did I have to tell him? Now he'll never trust me. Good going Jackson, you fucked up another one. He forced himself up and went down the hall, nervously knocking on Logan's door. "Logan? Please, talk to me. I'm sorry about what you had to see. I didn't mean to scare you. Please, I'm sorry…"
He shook his head and backed away from the door, hiding away under the covers. "no, y-you're not….you're not a demon, you're not dead…. you can't talk in my mind, and your eyes don't glow, it's just in your head Lo, too much sugar…"
"Logan please! I know you're scared, I just want to help! Please, I'm sorry!" He felt awful. "If you want me to leave, I will. You won't have to see me again just please talk to me."
He sniffled softly and peeked his head up from where he was curled up on the bed. "I don't know what to say, Jackson. How am I supposed to react to this?! like it's normal? cuz you know it's not." he felt horrible, he didtn't want to hurt Jackson but he also didn't know his true intentions anymore, would he hurt him? was that his plan all along?
"Jay's one too? and Raz knows?"
"Well, yeah. He's one and Raz knows." He scratched the back of his neck. "I know is not normal and I know my intentions seem all out of whack to you but I swear on my life I'm not here to trick you. I genuinely do have a thing for you and I don't want to leave you. But if you want me to go, I totally understand."
"What life? you said it yourself. you've been dead for 12 years. And what do you mean thing?is this something so unnatural to you that you can't even put a name to it?" Logan shook his head and plopped his head back onto his arms "do whatever yo want Jackson." he murmured, lying back down on the bed and curling up tightly into a ball
"I mean I have a crush on you! I mean that I like you!" He sighed. "I know this probably ruined any feelings you might've had for me. I know I fucked things up. I'll just…I'll just go. I'm so sorry." He went for the door, blinking back tears.
