Jamie nodded gently, wrapping his arms tightly around Lucifer. “Yes… I do.” He whispered, a small feeling of sadness interrupting his happiness as he noticed the flicker in Lucifer’s eyes. There was a chance he’d lose Lucifer. He couldn’t do that.
“What’s wrong? Do you want to get a different one?” Lucifer tilted his head.
“No I want this one. I’m happy that I’m going to be with you… I’m just scared I’ll lose you.”
Lucifer giggled. “Aren’t you the one who said you won’t loose me? How much do these cost?”
“In total $240, but I can make a discount if you want?” She smirked.
“No, it’s okay I’ll just pay you in full.” He gave her the money and started to walk out. “Come again!”
“I know… I wot lose you. But that doesn’t mean I’m not afraid that I won’t be able to help you, love.” He nuzzled into Lucifer as he paid, humming happily as he stared at the ring on his finger.
He followed Lucifer out of the store, biting his lip. “I love you, Lucy…”
“I love you too amy (the most wonderful woman in the world).” He kissed his lips with a smile. “You won’t loose me.”
Jamie purred happily, taking Lucifer’s hand and beaming. “Good. Because I need you, love.”
"I need you to~" Lucifer cooed. "Let's go home. How about we go to your house and then we can go back to mine. Your parents must be worried sick."
“Oh! My parents much be really worried!!” He gasped, biting his lip. He had sent them a text but hadn’t answered any of their messages back.
Lucifer giggled. "Come on. He took and and jerked his head. "You know what your parents might be mad about?"
“Eh-what do you think they’ll be mad about…? I’m a little scared. They might be really angry with me for not checking in.” He laughed nervously and bit his lip.
"School. We already missed a week because of my ruins." Lucifer laughed. "I honestly forgot until now."
“Ah… crap.” Jamie went pale. “I’m so dead. I’m soooo dead.” He murmured gently, biting her lip.
"Hey, just say that you were helping me through family issues." Lucifer put his hands behind his head.
Jamie gently tugged on Lucifer’s sleeve, fretting over it all. “What if they’re really mad…?” He asked softly. “I don’t want to get in trouble.”
"They love me. Just tell them you helping me get out of the house because I was dealing with family issues. You can also tell them that we got engaged~." Lucifer smiled.
“I can’t wait to tell them about us…” he murmured, gently kissing Lucifer. He was still scared, afraid he’d get in a lot of trouble.
Lucifer kissed back and smiled. "It'll be okay. I know what it's like when parents get mad at you. At least it's not as bad as when dad get mad at me. So, you'll be alright."
Jamie nodded gently, biting his lip. “You’re right… I’m still scared though. What are they going to think when I come back home after days of not talking to them and I’m suddenly engaged?”
"I don't know. We'll talk about it when the time comes, which i very soon." Lucifer jerked his head towards Jamie's house.
Jamie groaned softly, landing in front of his house and nervously reaching towards the door to his home, hesitating. “Oh dear… this is scary.”
"I'm right here with you." Lucifer opened the door to see to parents tapping their foot and a little brother running to Lucifer. "Hey! How's my little mun skin doing?"
Jamie’s brother beamed, hugging Lucifer’s leg. “Hiii!” He giggled softly, grinning widely.
Jamie’s mother grabbed his arm and led him away from the door. “Where in heaven and hell have you been?’ We were worried sick, Jamie! And the school called to say you weren’t in class!!” Jamie hung his head in shame.
“I was helping Lucifer. I’m sorry i forgot to tell you. He’s becoming king soon and I was there to comfort him.”
"Wait…he's Lucifer and the prince of hell and you're in love with guy? Don't tell me you two are getting married now!" the mother was shocked and angry at the same time.
"Actually…" Lucifer whispered.
Jamie flinched alway, nodding softly. “W-we are… we’re engaged, now. I thought you’d like that…” he murmured, lifting his hand to show the ring.
Lucifer picked up the little boy and smiled.
"Honey…I do, but don't go disappearing on us, we thought something bad happened to you. We're mad because you didn't tell us where you were. How come you didn't tell me that your fiance is the prince of hell?!"
The boy smiled, wrapping his arms around Lucifer and grinning. “Are you going to marry my brother?” He asked excitedly. “You make good food! I want you to stay around!”
“Mom I won’t. I’m safe with Lucifer. And I’ll make sure to call next time! I’ll let you know. I’m sorry mom… I didn’t tell you because I thought you’d make me break up with him… I love him a lot…”
The mother sighed. "Okay….Okay. Just call me next time." She giggled softly at her son's comment. She nodded her head telling Lucifer it was okay.
"Of course I'll stay to take care of you, but I have to do something very important so is it alright if I barrow your brother for a few more days?" He asked.
Jamie relaxed and gave his mom a hug. “Can I stay with him for a little while longer? I need to help him. I’ll get caught up on school, i promise!”
The younger, nearly perfect copy of Jamie nodded, giggling. “Only if you bring my brother back. we miss him.”
The mother sighed and nodded. "Fine you better get caught up with your school work. Both of you!" she pointed.
Lucifer giggled. "Of course I'll bring him back. I could never take him away from a sweet boy like you." he kissed his nose.
