Jamie looked up nervously, but nodded gently. “I-I do. I’m scared though… I haven’t done it before. Would you help me?”

Lucifer nodded. "If you want to stop at anytime just tell me." Lucifer took Jamie's arm started to ascend slowly.

Jamie held tightly onto Lucifer, laughing nervously as the ground started to get a little too far away. But he remained calm, swallowing hard.

"It's cute seeing you scared. I-In a good way though…" Lucifer and Jamie were almost to the clouds. "Are you okay?"

“I-it’s really high up. I’ve never been this high.” He murmured, laughing nervously.

Jamie nodded softly, biting his lip. “I’m okay. I just need to get used to this. …”

Lucifer brought Jamie through the cloud and he smiled taking in the fresh air. "So? What do you think?" It was peaceful and quiet. No birds or other people. Just them and the sun.

Jamie began to relax, looking around and gasping. “It’s pretty…” he murmured, clutching onto Lucifer’s arm.

Lucifer looked down and then back at Jamie. A soft smile spread across his lips. Lucifer turned Jamie’s head to face his. He tucked and stand of hair behind Jamie’s ear. Lucifer look him in the eyes. “I love you.”

Jamie smiled at Lucifer, leaning into his touch and humming happily. “I love you too, Lucifer.” He linked their arms and leaned in for a quick kiss.

Lucifer grinned and looked down. “Let’s get back.” Lucifer took a deep breath. “Do you want to go down or stay here for a bit longer?”

“Can we stay up here for a bit longer…? It’s really pretty. I like it a lot.” Jamie let his wings open wider, taking in more of the air below them.

Lucifer intertwined their fingers and kissed his cheek. He placed his head on Jamie’s shoulder. “Yeah…” Lucifer smiled and then frowned. “I won’t be able to have anymore moments like this…”

“What do you mean…?” Jamie asked quietly, looking down at his love. “You won’t be able to go out like this?”

“Well, if I loose control, I don’t know what will happen and if I don’t, I’ll be busy taking care of hell…maybe I’ll have breaks to have a life, but I honestly don’t know…” Lucifer closed his eyes.

Jamie wished he could have pulled Lucifer into a hug right then. He instead gave his hand a tight squeeze and rubbed his thumb across his hand. “It’ll be alright. I’ll be next to you regardless.”

Lucifer nodded. “Let’s go get our rings.” Lucifer closed his wings and let himself fall. “Trust me it’s fun!” He yelled.

Jamie yelped, but didn’t the same, closing his wings and falling. He gasped, giggling at the butterflies in his stomach.

Lucifer spread his wings right before he hit the ground flying back up to the high they were before going up to the clouds. “Was it fun?”

Jamie giggled happily, watching his wings open as he caught himself from the fall. “It was really fun! I didn’t know it was that fun to do that.”

“That’s because you never tried.” Lucifer giggled. “Come on, before the store closes.” Lucifer flew towards the city and to the shop. He landed safely and dusted off his wings.

Jamie giggled and landed next to Lucifer, grinning widely at the shop in front of them. “I’m so excited!”

“I know you are. I’m glad this one is for the both of us.” Lucifer smiled. “Let’s go.” He walked into the store.

“Welcome to-“ The lady was a demon, so she bowed. “My prince…”

“No, reason for the formalities. I’m not really big on stuff like that…” Lucifer blushed.

Jamie tilted his head at the woman, smiling softly. He took Lucifer’s hand and hummed happily. “Your blush is cute.” He whispered softly, kissing Lucifer’s cheek.

“S-Stop it~” Lucifer wined. “W-We’re here to buy rings. For our engagement. I kind of proposed without a ring, so here w-we are…”

The lady stoped for a moment then started to smirk. “Of course, you two are…that’s so cute! So what were you two looking for?”

Jamie beamed, extremely excited to start looking. He rubbed Lucifer’s hand with his thumb, humming happily. “We just want to look at a few rings. Do you have anything that might work for us?”

The lady tapped her fingers looking at their hands and then they’re faces. “How about one black for my prince and one silver for his princess?” She took them out.

Jamie looked at the rings with excitement, nudging Lucifer. “Look how pretty!” He exclaimed. “May we try them on?”

“Of course!” He smiled.

Lucifer took the black one and placed it on his finger. “Wow…it really does look amazing…” his eyes grew soft as he admired the ring.

Jamie slipped on the silver one and beamed. He showed Lucifer, feeling tears of joy well up in his eyes. He couldn’t believe he was getting married to the one he loved. It made him excited.

“D-Do you want these?” He asked looking up at Jamie while his eyes flickered black, but soon turned back to normal.
