"Oh, hey Caro! How are you today?" Lucas asked her, arm around Kaylee with a warm smile. "Having good classes, I'm hoping."

"I have three classes with star so far" she groaned

Lucas's smile dropped, letting out a sigh. "Has she been bothering you in the classes? I can go fix that, before you're stuck in another one with her." Lucas offered, leaning his head against Kaylee's.

She shook her head looking in the cafeteria for star

"If you're sure Caroline." Lucas hummed, putting his focus back on Kaylee while they sat at the table. "I'll be right back." Lily hummed, getting up from the table and heading off leaving Collins there. "I need to thank you personally, Caro." Collins said quickly as Lily walked off.

She smiled " don't mention it Collins" she said

"No, like really. My weak ass wasn't going to fess up, without that boost." He insisted, giving her a soft smile. "So thank you a million."

Caroline shivered"do any of you guys have a jacket or hoodie on you" she asked

With that said, a leather jacket was placed over her shoulders from behind. "I got you princess." Brad hummed, giving her a soft smile.

She turned to face him " God I love you" she said

Bending down in front of her, he smiled sweetly. "Love you just the same. And look, I wanted to apologize for earlier." Brad said softly, taking her hands in his own. "Will my darling forgive my ignorance?"

" it's alright I should've just told you about them" she said

"You had every right not to. I shouldn't have said anything about it in the first place." Brad hummed, pressing his lips to the back of her hand. "Don't be mad at her, but Kaylee told me why you didn't like those girls."

" Kaylee I swear to God I'll kill you in your sleep" she said spinning back around.

Squeaking, she sunk down chewing on her lip. "I'm sorry… I couldn't help it…" Kaylee whispered, keeping her distance. Lucas tightened his hold on Kaylee. "Come on Caroline, don't be mad. She made a mistake." Lucas whispered, resting a hand on her shoulder.

She swatted at his hand " really don't Lucas I haven't taken any of my pills and I will actually fucking kill you" she warned

Pulling back, he nodded softly leaving her alone. "Well then, it's a good thing I remembered to grab them at the house." Brad hummed, reaching in the pocket of his leather jacket, and pulling out the small bottle. "I wasn't sure, so I wanted to bring them along just in case." He shrugged lightly, holding the bottle out to her.

She pushed the bottle away tossed him his jacket and walked away running into Star

Surprised at the suddenness of it all, he knew he had screwed things up again. "Wait- Caroline." He called softly, tucking them back in his jacket so he wasn't flashing them all over the place. Though he stopped at seeing the run in between the two girls. "Oh no…"
Star scoffed, whipping around to see who had run into her. "Excuse you." She snapped, resting a hand on her hip.

" excuse me? Excuse you" she said

"I'm not the one who ran into you. I think you owe me an apology." The blonde snapped, having one of the varsity football players come up behind her. "Go on. Apologize."

" fucking make me' she growled

Star stepped up to Caroline, glancing over her shoulder to see Brad standing there. "You're going to regret saying that Woods. I've got my eyes on a special someone, who's tall, dark, and handsome. Watch your man Caroline." Star snapped, before turning back to the other young man with a sweet smile.

Caroline dug her nails into her palm drawing blood she smiled sweetly " your right I am sorry" she said putting her hand on stars shoulder on the fabric of her white dress

"It's too late Woods. There's no turning back now." Star snapped, brushing Caroline's hand off of her shoulder, not taking notice of the stain on her white dress.

Caroline smiled " I'm not scared of you star but could you at least wear clean clothes to my school" she said looking at her shoulder

Glancing at her shoulder, her jaw dropped at the sight of blood on her shoulder. “That’s it Woods.” Star snapped tears stinging at her eyes. She was furious.

She shrugged " what are you going to do" she asked

“Just wait.” With that, she yanked the tall man along with her out of the cafeteria not happy with Caroline in the slightest.

She whipped around clenching her fists tighter
