“Yeah, well, breaking an ankle deterred me, so, I stopped.”

"As once says by the famous Dory, "Just keep swimming, Just keep swimming!" So in other words, "Don't give up!"

“Nah. Reading and being a pessimist is better. Although I do swim sometimes. About three out of seven practices a week. My mom is going to kill me when she figures out I missed yesterday’s.”

"She will be more worried that you did not arrive home then you missing you swimming lesson."

“Oh, you do not know my mom,” Mara said with a bitter laugh.

"My Grandpa wont even notice that I'm gone.." Liam muttered, "I used to sneak out the house for a few days, he- he would act like I was never there… Its, uh, kinda good but its sad at the same time."

“Yeah,” Mara sighed.

"Is you mom like that?"

“A bit…” Mara said slowly.

"Well…" Liam said, hitting the wall again, "Lets start thinking about how we can get out of here and what's at the other side of this wall."

“Okay. I predict that your hammer will break before we get anywhere.”

"This hammer is made of Metal! Not wood!" He then began hitting even harder and the cement fragments started flying.

“Yes. And that wall is made of thick cement.”

"And cement can be bracken by a sledgehammer!"

“Yes. You have a small hammer.”

"IT Might be small but its powerful!"

“Like me,” Mara smiled.

Donny had fallen asleep but woke up when Liam started banging on the wall. He watched the conversation with mild interest.

"Exactly!" Hitting the sharp edge of the hammer on the wall, another cone shape piece fell out.

“Woah so much progress.”

"EXACTLY!" He said again, hitting it like a monkey.

“That was sarcastic,” Mara smiled.

"EXACTLY!" Laughing, he draped the hammer and crawled away.

“Okay you are delirious or something.”

"I'm sorry, I'm just really tired, thirsty, and I have a headache and I need to use the bathroom." Laying on the ground, he finished, "I want to throw up."

“Then throw up. I don’t have a problem with it as long as you do it over there,” Mara said, gesturing to a far corner.

"But we're in a enclosed room! It will stink!"

“My life already stinks. Just get it over with.”

"Never! By bathroom break is more important than throwing up!"

“Okay, well then, go! Honestly, you are making a huge deal out of nothing.”
