"Oh you need help with that Jo?" he asked as he drove, turning down their street.

"Unless you can fix slashed tires, I'll be alright. Someone came through and took out my back two." Joanna mumbled, resting her head against the window. "It's quite obnoxious."

"Who the fuck slashed your tires?!" Tempest was visibly angry at this news, a rare outburst of anger as his form flickered between his anthro and human form.

Taken aback, Joanna leaned back away from him with wide eyes. "I-I don't know, Tempest. I didn't see who did it." She whispered, biting on the edge of her nail.

"S-sorry just…they better hope I don't catch them." he told her as his human form solidified

As Tempest relaxed, Joanna did too. "Right. There's not much we can do about it otherwise." Joanna mumbled, giving him a soft smile.

Tempest nodded and gently took her hand as they pulled into the apartment parking lot.

Glancing back over to him, she gave his hand a gentle squeeze. "Don't worry about it hun. It'll be fine."

As they stop he unbuckled his seat belt and hugged her gently "I can get someone to look at it"

"I don't want to cause you any trouble…" Joanna mumbled, resting her head on his shoulder. "You don't have to."

Temp released her and started to get out the car "You're never too much Jo." To be honest he wasn't using much of his money for himself at this point other than for basic necessities and was saving up for Jo, still holding onto what she said, that she wanted to go back to school.

"You say that now." Joanna sighed, getting out of the car with a gentle sigh. "I really don't want you to spend your money on me. I can handle myself, Temp." She insisted, walking up to the building.

"I know you can…" he wasn't deterred from his plan though as he caught up to Joanna "How was work by the way? I forgot to ask."

"Work? It was alright. Busy, and full of drunk people. Appealing, I know." Joanna replied sarcastically, giving him a light smile. "You said yours was good, right?"

"Great as ever. We got another deal we're working on and if we do this good then i feel we're ready for triple A projects!" he said excitedly

"That's awesome, babe! Honestly, I'm so proud of you." Joanna smiled softly at the news, reaching out to take his hand in her own. "We should go get ice cream to celebrate tomorrow. You deserve it."

"Alright I'd be up for the second sweetest thing." he grinned a little as he took her hand

"Second?" Joanna asked with a confused look, slowly having things click in her head. "Oh… Tempest!" Joanna laughed lightly, resting her head against him.

"I love you…you first sweetest thing!" He chuckled and kissed her forehead happily "alright let's get ya back so you can start to wind down for bed." He said he lead them up the stairs

Joanna smiled, and nodded just a bit. “Mm, sounds like a good plan.” She hummed, picking up her pace so she could jog up the stairs. “Am I able to just spend the whole night with you?”
