A lot of the newbies on here seem to think that, by jumping on a popular thread where the "cool kids" hang out (which I've so lovingly dubbed y'all as the Chaos Bringers), they're instantly going to be loved and pulled into friendships right off the bat. When that doesn't work, they then employ Friendship Magnet #2, constantly replying with random statements that kind of appeal to most stated opinions in an attempt at making people like them, which inevitably backfires
