“Can’t you just lie to them and tell them it’s for the contract? Play it off as a part of your job.” He suggested “and hey, maybe she didn’t recognize you, it had been 7 years since you probably last saw her, maybe more. Maybe she didn’t recognize you.”
"Are you crazy? I can't talk to them! They. Think. I'm. Dead. They were at the funeral! They saw me get put in the ground! If I just show up at their door one day, they'd freak! And if word that I made contact with my family got back to Marcus or God forbid someone higher, I'd be done for. Forced to return to hell with no chance of returning. Which means I'd leave you behind once again but this time as my fiancè but never my husband."
Raz thought for a moment, resting his head on his arm “if your family thinks your dead, then they should t worry about your sister in law. They’ll think she’s crazy for saying something like that. Or at least they’ll shrugged it off as a sister’s loss and grief getting in the way of her rational thought.” He said softly “you’re not going anywhere love.”
"But there's always a case of what if. If she got a photo of me last night and uses that as evidence, then they'd probably believe her. And Lord only knows what my sister would spend on an investigation into what's going on, where I am, and why I'm alive."
Raz sighed and stared at the table for a bit, eyebrows furrowed in thought. “What if we make you a new identity? You said it yourself to the system you’re dead. We can make a new identity for you. That way if anyone asks, they’ll be mistaking you with someone else.”
"I suppose that could work." He ran his hand through Raz's hair with a smile. "I appreciate all the thought you're putting into this but you really shouldn't. It's my issue to work out, not yours."
He leaned into the touch with a small smile and pressed a kiss to his palm “Hey, We’re going to get married soon. We’re partners Jay. You don’t have to do all this on your own anymore.”
"You're too sweet to me, my love." His heart melted, what had he done to deserve someone like Raz?
Raz smiled softly and stood, tilting Jay’s head up and kissing him. “I have every right and reason to be.”
"Not so sure about the reason but the right, definitely." He tugged him down by the collar of his shirt to kiss him harder.
Raz wrapped his arms around Jay and sat on his lap so they were more comfortable.
“You came back. Even when you left you still came back. You still love me despite what we went through when we first met.”
"How couldn't I love you? You're perfect to me." He wrapped his arms around his waist, squeezing his hips softly.
He smiled softly and stroked his lower lip “and you’re beautiful, darling.” He kissed him again. “I love you~”
"I love you more~" He kissed him softly, smiling against his lips. "And I'm not beautiful. That's all you."
Raz blushes lightly and shook his head. “You are, even if you don’t see that yet.”
"No no no, you're just wrong. That's all you. You're the gorgeous one here." He smiled when he saw his blush.
Raz laughed softly and shook his head "I'm rarely wrong darling," he teased, gently stroking his cheek
"Well I guess now this is one of the few times that you're wrong."
"He rolled his eyes and stood, pressing a kiss to Jay's head "no darling, I'm not."
"Hey, no, get back here!" He tugged him back down, kissing him roughly for a few seconds before pulling back. "You're staying here until I decide to let you go." He chuckled, nuzzling his face into his neck.
Raz squeaked in surprise but the sound was drowned out by the kiss that he happily returned. "Love, then we're going to stay here forever," he argued playfully, running his hands through Jay's hair
"You say that like it's a bad thing." He teased with a smile, pressing a few teasing kisses to his neck.
“Oh it’s absolute torture!” He laughed and tilted his head out of the way with a small hum. “I can only imagine what our marriage will be like.” He added, this time in a wistful way
"The same as our engagement but with less feeling in your legs if I have it my way." He chuckled, trailing his kisses back up to his lips.
He blushed a light pink and kissed Jay back “careful darling, your seductive side’s showing~” Raz purred softly, stroking his cheek
"If you really had a problem with it, you would've told me to stop already~" He purred back.
“Hm, true. But that most likely won’t happen.” He traced his lips with a his thumb “Are you okay now that you’ve had some kisses?”
"Mmm, just a couple more." He pulled him back in, savoring his taste on his lips.
He laughed softly against Jay’s lips and fed into the passionate kiss, wrapping his arms around Jay and pulling him close.
He smiled against his lips, tugging him closer. He would never get sick of kissing him, he knew it.
