"what do you mean?" TYler ssked

”I know.” Evan smiled. ”Well… I saw a ring toss over there. I could try to win you something.”

”Is she still mad at us… At Ly? Does she know how she's hurting him?” Henry asked.

"yay!" She squealed

"She's hurt…badly"Tyler said

Evan smiled at her and, still holding her hand, lead her over to the game.

”I know that Tyler. It's just…” Henry sighed. ”Sometimes it feels like she doesn't tell us enough about herself and then we’re just supposed to know everything.” he said.

"it's not what we know it's what we did we keep screwing her over" Tyler said

She interlaced thier fingers

”I never meant to.” Henry said softly. ”I know I messed up… multiple times when me and her were together. Prom? I missed a hunt and if I showed up then… I would have drained someone and ruined the whole night anyway.” he sighed. ”I know that sounds pathetic.”

Evan grinned and handed some money to the ring toss vendor.

He handed four rings to Evan

”I know… and I feel really bad about it. I was going to tell her the next day.” Henry said. ”But I couldn't find her. Probably because she was in the hospital.”

Evan took the rings and smiled at Betty. ”You want to show off your arm too?” he asked offering half the rings to her.

She shook her head "that's your job mister" she said

Evan winked at her. ”You say so, beautiful.” he told her, throwing a ring at the tall bottles.

She blushed as he called her that

Evan threw the other three rings, each one hitting his targets.

She giggled and kissed his cheek

He laughed at the kiss, feeling his face warm up as he blushed. ”I’m the king of the ring toss!” he joked.

She giggled the time had passed and she was standing in front of Evan slow dancing to a song there faces inches a way from each other

Evan was humming along to the music as they danced, his giant stuffed animal for Betty was waiting for them just outside the dance floor.

She looked up looking on his eyes

He smiled back looking in her eyes.

She moved her hand up to his neck

Evan wrapped his arms around her waist, holding her close.

Lysander had been trying to keep Laura-Beth from getting too upset but he knew the little girl wouldn't let him leave with her mama.

Taking her action as an invitation, Evan leaned in more and kissed her.

She kissed him back

Evan smiled into the kiss and pulled her a little closer, his fangs brushing against her lower lip.

She smiled, returning the gesture

Apparently, they had attracted a bit of a crowd as people around them saw the two main characters from the play kissing and started to cheer. Applause and whistles almost echoed around them.

She blushed and barried her head in his chest

Evan chuckled and held her, almost protectively, against him.
