(wow I haven't played as a straight character in ages)
( i know that we're waiting on one other person, but other than that does everyone have their template up?)
(Good here!)
(I’m ready whenever)
(Do you want me to post a starter?)
(sure!)
Delila pulled down her hat to cover her eye as she shuffled through the crowd. She looked around for another ship to hide out on. She couldn't stay in one place long. This port was packed full of unsavory faces and characters. The last thing she wanted was to get tangled up with them. As the sun started to set she slipped into a packed bar. None of the customers of this bar looked friendly in the slightest but it was better than being out on the streets at night.
Brina surveyed the crowd for any potential people who were drunk enough to not notice that they were missing anything until the morning. As she was walking she slid her hand into someone's pocket and pulled out a couple of coins. Not exactly what she was hoping for, but it would do. Brina could smell their alcohol on their breath and continued on her search for parts. She slid her hand into another man's satchel and took out a small gear and a couple of wires. Brina's eyes went wide at the sight of some old clients of hers. She hastily turned around and begin walking back towards the center of the bar. You could suppose that their business did not end well. She then sat down at the counter and ducked her head down.
Xander was in the bar, sitting alone at a high-top table. He slowly sipped on some ale as he worked on the page in front of him. He was practicing his art quietly, using all the… colorful personalities in the bar as inspiration. Besides, it never hurt to loosen up before doing art by getting a bit tipsy.
Ace wandered the port, searching for potential clients. Nobody worth killing. The crowd was pushing her this way and that, so she went with the flow, picking a few pockets, before the crowd spat her out near the bar. She opened the door and stepped in, seating herself at the counter.
Delila found a corner table and set herself up their, hoping that her appearance looked enough like a man for people to leave her alone. She didn't have anything ofor value to steal anyways. Othere than her limbs but she seriously hoped that nothing close to that would happen tonight.
Xander looked up from his sketchbook to see the new person who had walked in and settled a few tables away. As he finished one sketch, he started on another, using her as a reference. Ocassionally, he glanced at her again, hoping he didn't seem too creepy. It couldn't have been the worst experience she'd had in a place like this.
Magnus seemed to be of no interest to anybody, so he decided to slip into a bar for a drink or two. The money he’s stolen a couple days ago would be more than enough to cover it. Although, he didn’t have to steal to make money, but rather enjoyed the act of it. Often enough he’d get caught and have to run, but it was all just a thrill. Magnus pet the snake around his neck and entered the busy bar.
(My god, are they all just criminals?! Everyone here just steals things.)
(that’s exactly what I was thinking maybe i’ll change Magnus up a bit)
(Mine was supposed to be a former criminal too which makes it even funnier)
(omg hahaha it's ok, I can make some changes too)
(Dominic hunts people…. Idk if that's a crime here?)
(Isn't that just… murder???)
(But also wouldn't be funny if all these characters get together for plot purposes and turns out they're all crimes goblins?)
(yeees)
( I think this is so funny. apparently, we all just decided to turn to illegal actions in writing and I don't know is that's a good or bad thing haha)
('tis a good thing, trust me)
(Delila doesn't do too much illegal other than pickpocketing and being a stowaway. I do love how we all are criminals, though.)
(hahaha I guess I'll just try to mostly leave out Magnus's criminal activities unless they become relevant to change it up)
Delila kept her head down, not wanting to catch any unwanted attention. That was when she saw Xander drawing her. Her imeadite instinct was to look down and cover any part of her that was recognizeable but she stopped herself. If she did that it would look suspicious. So she opted for pulling down her hat a bit more and crossing her arms.
