Aliana's eyes were fluttered shut as she kissed him back once more.

He held her as close as possible as he kissed her over and over.

Aliana kissed him back over and over as long as he kept kissing her.

After a bit, he finally slowed down, pulling back.

Aliana hummed as she looked at him.

Hatta smiled at her gently, nuzzling her cheek.

Aliana smiled back as she nuzzled his cheek. She let out a soft sigh, "Thank you again."

He smiled again, holding her close. "Mm. Of course, love."

Aliana nuzzled against him and relaxed in his arms feeling safe.

Hatta smiled softly, holding her gently.

Aliana let out a soft sigh, "I love you."

"I love you too."

Aliana smiled up at him. She was happy to be back with him.

He smiled back, and kissed her cheek.

Aliana hummed and kissed his cheek back.

Hatta smiled softly again.

Aliana smiled softly at him as she nuzzled against his chest.

He closed his eyes.

Aliana shut her eyes as her breathing evened out just slightly.

Hatta held her, pulling the blankets over them.

Aliana hummed sleepily as she nuzzled further against Hatta.

Hatta smiled softly, and held her close.

"Hatta, thank you for coming for me," Aliana muttered to him knowing she was repeating earlier statements, but she couldn't stop even in her tired state, "You, you didn't have to."

Hatta blinked. "What? Of course i came. I wasn't going to leave you."

"But, you didn't have to. I'm not much use on this journey anyway," Aliana mumbled digging her head against him, "Maybe it would have been better if you left me with him. Then you wouldn't have to worry and watch out for me."

"Why the fuck would I leave you there?" Hatta demanded.

Aliana winced at his harsh words. She couldn't help but think of herself as less than a person. It's how she was raised, "Because, because, in the long run, you matter more. I, I don't matter. I don't matter." Her last words were nothing more than a soft echo.

"I don't matter more, Aliana. There was no way I was leaving you here." he said, pulling her closer.

Aliana felt a tear slip down her cheek. She knew, she knew he cared about her, but. But it felt good to have some confirmation. She buried herself against him, "I, thank you. Thank you thank you thank you."

He nodded a little, holding her as close as possible. "Of course." he replied softly, running a hand through her hair.
