She nodded closing her eyes

Henry stretched his arms over his head and closed his eyes. ”I’m gonna try to sleep a bit more too.” he said quietly. ”Wake me when we stop or if Asher needs me.”

”If you didn't drink your coffee in one gulp you’d be more awake right now.” Lysander scolded softly, not wanting to wake anyone.

Betty snickered as her eyes were still closed

Henry rolled his eyes before closing them, tilting his chair back a little.

Lysander smiled softly at his amazing wife and stroked her hair gently.

Betty's wolf ears twitched

Lysander held back a small laugh at the adorable action but couldn't help gently scratching near the base of those ears.

Her leg started gently shaking

He smirked a little and bit his lip to keep from laughing.

Betty had a tail she could hide but as she slept she accidentally made it a white furry tail visible

Lysander raised a brow slightly but honestly, he didn't mind. He loved her no matter what… He just hoped she wouldn't fully shift on his lap.

She lightly barked but sounded more like a ruff

He finally chuckled at that and continued to pet her hair.

Her ears twitched once more

He smiled again. That was quickly becoming one of his many favorite things about her.

She turned in her sleep where she was looking at him and one gang was resting on her outer bottom lip

He wanted to kiss her but he knew she needed her sleep. Especially after three weeks of not enough.

She shivered lightly

He rolled his eyes at his forgetfulness and warmed up for her before glancing up at Tyler.

Later they were almost there and Betty was awake playing with. His ring

Lysander smiled happily as he let her play with his ring.

Henry was looking out the window for any hint as to where they were. He… didn't always do well in closed spaces for long periods of time.

She took the ring off his finger " your not married anymore" she said

Lysander raised a brow in surprised concern as she took the ring off. ”Why is that? I don't remember signing anything for a divorce…”

" your too beautiful for me" she said

He breathed a sigh of relief and smiled at her. ”Oh, my dearest angel. You have it backward. You are too perfect for me.”

She looked up at him " Nooooo you are perfect the perfect friend the perfect boyfriend the perfect father the perfect fiance the perfect husband" she said

He chuckled and held her as best he could in the car. ”No. I am far from perfect. You are perfect in every way.” he smiled at her.

She shook her head and patted his leg

He raised a brow at the gesture but smiled at her before kissing her cheek.

”Are we there yet?” Laura-Beth asked from her car seat.

"almost kiddo the hotels over here" Tyler said

”Finally.” Henry sighed, his leg bouncing almost involuntarily.
