She smiled softly ¨Thanks never really had anyone who´s actually cared about me¨ she going to open the door again.
She smiled softly ¨Thanks never really had anyone who´s actually cared about me¨ she going to open the door again.
"You always will, kitty cat. even if you think you don't." he replied softly
¨Thank you Brink ¨ she said still not looking at them
Brink silently stood and hugged Vanessa close, placing a kiss on her head before taking a step back and letting her go
Vanessa turned around to face him giving him a small smile
"tell your mom the Quin family says hi." he gave a quirky grin and walked off to his dad's basement to get some training in before everyone else woke up
¨Cause that wont get me a bash in the head¨ She said walking off.
Jacks just sat there watching with a small smile on her face "you two are weird, cute but weird." she shook her head and got up to make breakfast
(Wanna skip)
(sure till when?)
(There could be A Gala Or Just A villain type party)
(sure)
it had been several weeks since Brink and Vanessa had talked But now she was at the gala her hair in a bun with two curled pieces down framing her face with a black dress her nails painted black with black eyeliner lip gloss and dark eyeshadow

(pretty^^^)
Brink had been dragged along with his sister to the Gala. His parent's didn't want to come this timethough they did promise they would attend the next one. Brink wore a black suit, very classic despite his protest to be more flashy. His hair as always was an unruly mess but he found it to be fitting for the party. His sister wore a whine colored dress and her hair down
Vanessas mom didn´t come none of the parents did she thought all the parents plotted together to make the kids interact with each other.
Brink followed Jacks around, keeping his eyes down so as to not attract attention to himself.
"Remind me again why we're here instead of out in the city?" he asked
"For a little fun, plus they'll be opening the rooftop soon so thats going to be great." she replied, glancing over at her little brother and laughing
Vanessa was walking around her converse hitting the floor her punch in hand which was in a wine glass.
Brink's eyes snapped up when the lights went out and loud music came over the speakers. His hair and face tattoos came to like in the black light lit area. He could hear laughs from around him as guests started to gather in the middle to dance. Jacks went to join on the outskirts of the group while Brink stayed close to a wall as he gazed around the ballroom, shutting his eyes for a bit to help himself relax
Vanessa sighed this wasn´t her scene although she´d never admit it she loved the dress especially the lace on it she walked around not even seeing brink even though she was pretty close to him
When Brink opened his eyes, he saw that someone had opened the doors to the stairs leading up to the roof. He quickly made his way over, keeping his head low so as to avoid any confrontation and quickly made his way up the stairs
Vanessa looked up and saw brink she made her way up the stairs "well long time no see" she said once she caught up to him
Brink was standing on the edge of the roof, his hair and jacket flapping slightly in the wind. he turned slightly when he heard the voice behind him and a genuine smile graced his lips "It certainly has, kitty cat. What took you so long, hm?"
"eh chaos here destruction there " she said coming to stand beside him
"Always in Gotham." he nodded in agreement and gazed out onto the city. "you and your mom alright?"
"yeah " she nodded " I missed you" she admitted not looking at him instead at the nightsky
"I haven't gone anywhere, kitty cat. You can't miss something that has never left." he said softly, lowering himself down so he sat on the edge of the roof, legs dangling off the edge
¨Ok Well I haven´t seen you in almost a month ¨ she said sitting beside him.
"I know, I wanted to give yo space in case you and your mom were still on edge." he replied, finally looking at her
She nodded ¨seems fair ¨ she said still not looking at him.
He looked away and looked over his shoulder "I'm assuming you're not really a fan of these gatherings?" he asked with a smile "that or waiting until the real party starts."
