It took a large chunk out of the xenomorph's heath bar but it grabbed the marine and the last thing Jo's avatar saw was the little inside mouth of the Alien thrusting out, cutting her screen to static "Don't worry there's still plenty of game left." Tempest assured her "You can find health stims, and grenades around the map. You also can pick up sniper rifles, shotguns, flamthrowers and a Smartgun to replace your standard rifle. Also your handgun has unlimited ammo." he instructed her as her re spawn screen came up and Tempest considered switching to Predator
Pursing her lips as she spoke, she nodded gently, adjusting her position. "Alright, thanks." She smiled pecking his cheek before turning back to the screen.
Tempest indeed switched to The Predator and adjusted his Predator's vision to thermal before searching around for his own gear he had to gather
Guiding her character across the screen, she gathered new equipment and stored them. "I haven't played games like this in forever," She mumbled looking out for Tempest.
"Man the older games are the best." Tempest chuckled as he grabbed a Smart Disc and Hunting Spear. "Oh Jo" He teased as his character let out the iconic Predator clicking noise
“I hate that so much.” She cringed with a slight smile. “Where are you?” She asked, mumbling and scoping him out.
He spotted Jo's Marine and jumped up into a tree and took aim with a spear that he missed pretty badly with "Ah those things are so hard to use."
Aiming her gun up at the tree he had tried to attack her at, she fired it off a couple times to see if she could hit him. "I feel like you did that on purpose." She laughed lightly, pausing her firing for just a second.
"No The laser sight is off on that." Tempest assured her and it was like she had punctured a glow stick as the green florescent blood sprayed from the trees. Tempest tried to get his avatar away "No I just got the plasma caster!"
Laughing out, she continued to fire upwards at his avatar. “And I’m not going to let you use it!” She grinned, continuing to fire.
In a panic me let out a plasma blast that ended up hurting him and causing him to fall out the tree, draining the rest of his lifebar "Damn. Don't worry I'm gonna get you." he assured her with a grin as he waited to respawn
"Sure thing babe." She continued to grin, pressing her lips to his cheek. "Maybe I'll let you,"
He smiled a bit and put his Predator's cloaking devise on, causing Jo's marine's motion tracker to show motion dots all around her when he got close
"What in the world?" She asked under her breath, spinning around to fire off in multiple directions. "How did you do that?"
"Cloaking messes with the motion sensor." Tempest told her as the Predator crouched and was sneaking up behind the marine
At the last second, she whipped around, firing straight out into the open air. "I hate how vulnerable this feels." She shuddered, trying to find where he was.
Tempest turned off the cloaking devise and grabbed the marine, taking the typical "trophy' that one would before dropping the marine to the ground
Laughing softly, she nodded. "Typical, I brag for winning once, and I lose the next." Joanna chuckled, running her fingers through the loose hair.
"If we were online I would be getting my ass kicked by everyone cause those people are unbelievable." he assured her with a laugh
"You don't have to say that, I was just laughing at my luck." She smiled sweetly, setting her controller aside to take his hand in her own. "I'm sure you're better than you say."
"No I'm being completely for real here its quite scary. You look at them and boom respawn time." he broke into a laugh "I shit you not."
Snickering, she slid her arms over his shoulder. "That does sound scary, but I'm sure my boyfriend is braver than that." She teased, nuzzling his cheek with her nose.
He chuckled a bit and "Maybe with my girl here supporting me on but I don't wanna bore you with that." he told her, hugging her gently
“You wouldn’t bore me, if you played a couple rounds.” She hummed, leaning into his gold with a bright smile. “But you don’t have to, only if you want to.”
"Oh so you want to watch me get my ass handed to me?" he teased and kissed her cheek gently
“I mean…” Joanna smirked, leaning into the kiss in her cheek. “I’m teasing, I’m positive you are lying to me about this.”
He clicked online and waited for a match "I swear I'm not nearly as good as them." He picked Marine as he wited for more people to join
"Fine, I'll make a deal with you. If you lose, you can pick what we do next. If you win, I get to pick." Joanna hummed with a soft smile. It seemed fair, he was so determined he was going to lose, might as well give him something for it. "But, you have to actually, really try."
Tempest smiled and gave her a little kiss before the match started, the map a temple now. Tempest's Marine turned on his flashlight and switched to his handgun. Almost immediately a xenomorph rushed up to him and attacked with his tail, a cheap move to do since it was capable of being an instakill. Tempest held down the block button and fired several burst shots into the Alien's dome after the Alien had to wait for a tail recharge, causing it to fall, showing up in the kill feed. The team Marine's were in second behind Predators but ahead of Aliens thanks to Tempest.
"Mhmm. That's what I thought." She murmured, pulling her hair out to adjust it better. Besides that one side note, she wasn't speaking as if not to distract him.
