“Well how did that happen?” He asked her softly, trying not to snicker just slightly.

" because there was a gunshot and I was scared" she pouted

"Who would shoot in your neighbor hood? Isn't it suppose to be a nicer one?" Brad asked her softly, catching sight of Caroline's phone lighting up. "You're super popular tonight."

Caroline picked up her phone looking at the notification

It was another Snapchat notification, from Emmy. Who said anything about a boy? She questioned, a second one popping up underneath. If it was Brad, I'm going to kill him.

First answer my question. Did Brad tell you I liked someone? Emmy asked her once more, being just as stubborn as her brother.

There's got to be more reason behind this, than that… She responded with a sigh, glancing at her clock. It was getting late. Nearly eleven o'clock.

She turned her phone off and thew it to the side

"Who was it? Are they asking you to come over?" Brad asked her in a mumble, pulling her close by the waist.

" it's your sister were talking about boys" she said

"And how horrible they are, and how you ladies deserve so much better?" He joked, nuzzling his nose into the crook of her neck.

She smiled gently and stroked his hair

"Because that's very true. There are very few boys who deserve you lovely ladies." He smiled, leaning into her.

She kissed him gently

Kissing her back, he pulled her onto his lap to hold her closer.

She smiled into the kiss cupping his cheek

"Mmm, I love you." He mumbled, biting on the edge of her lip softly.

" I love you too baby" she muttered

"I don't deserve you…" He hummed, pecking the tip of her nose.

" but you have me and I'm not going anywhere" she said

"You're sure?" Brad asked her softly, leaning into the hold of her hand.

She nodded " I promise"
