Tempest was patient and sweet as he continued his lesson with her. He played the main part of "Ode to Joy" with her for it was't too difficult he thought
Not frustrated, she continued to attempt to play. She wasn't the best, but not too terribly either. "I'm just not holding my hands right." She sighed, lifting her hands up.
He pulled her onto his lap and placed his hands over hers to show where and how she should have them out
Leaning back into his chest, she made sure to keep loose. "I want to thank you for helping me." She whispered, rather softly.
"It makes me real happy helping you so you're welcome beautiful." he said softly to her and kissed the back of her neck gently before continuing
Her fingers ran across the keys, more smoothly than they had been before. "The hand position makes all the difference in the world." She said breathlessly.
"Yep it sure does." Tempest responded as he rested his head on her shoulder as they played. Soon Jo was playing the main melody with minimum help from Tempest "Hey looky there Jo!"
Giggling, she continued to play, picking up her pace a bit. "I'm learning from the best," She grinned, placing her focus fully on the piano now.
"Maybe I'll teach you Bohemian Rhapsody next." Tempest thought out loud, his breath at the side of her neck. He gave her cheek a kiss "You're doing wonderful."
"Oh dear, I don't think I'm up to that." She giggled pulling her hands back from the keys with a soft smile. "But I'll try it, if that's what you want me to do."
"The piano part isn't that bad." he promised "But I guess simple is best for now." He pulled his hands from her and wrapped them around her in a warm embrace "You're an excellent student."
“I’ll have to trust you.” She giggled, resting her hands on his. “What now?” She asked softly.
"Movie, video games, Netflix…the lazy list goes on for a while." Tempest mused with a little smile
Pulling herself off of his lap, she walked over to the couch. “I’m down for whatever!”
Tempest went over and flopped onto the couch, getting his roku remote out from underneath himself "We'll browse Netflix a while I guess." he said as he pressed the Netflix button on the remote
“We could also play a game or something.” She shrugged, sitting herself right besides him on the couch.
"I have a few. I'd have to take out Detroit Become Human and put something else in." Tempest told her as he reached for his ps4 controllers
"I have a couple in my room, if you want to expand our options." She hummed, giving him a soft smile. "But I'm plenty happy with whatever you've got."
"I've got the old Alien vs Predator Title." Tempest offered "If you wanna get spooked"
"You'll have to give a quick rundown how to play," She hummed, picking up a controller. "I haven't played that one before."
He put that game in and asked her "You remember the old movies Alien and the other one Predator?"
“Yeah, I’ve heard of ‘em. I choose not to remember watching them though.” She hummed, slipping her arm around his shoulders.
"Well then I'll let you play as a Marine to start since their controls are like first person shooters." Temp decided and set up a match with Jo as a marine and Temp as an Alien. "Just pick stuff up around the map and shoot me when I get to close. You have a little motion sensor at the bottom left of your screen."
“Alright, shouldn’t be too hard.” She hummed, leaning forward in her seat with a smirk.
Tempest grinned and added "If you can find me." as they were both spawned in the thickness of a jungle
Joanna trained her eyes on the screen, not bothering to look over at Tempest. A look of determination took over her face, when a thought took over. "Do not go easy on me. I'm not the kind of girl who wants to let you let me win."
"Wasn't planning on it gamer girl." he teased and made his Alien let out a loud hiss, up in a tree as Tempest observed Jo's Marine outline, looking for an opening that wouldn't get him shot to pieces.
Joanna zeroed her gaze onto the game, using her scope to keep a look out for Tempest's avatar. Joanna chewed on her lip, finger poised on the back trigger of the controller.
Tempest knew this was his opportunity and crawled down from the tree, his xenomorph drone. He pressed his left trigger that caused him to knock Jo's Marine to the ground, ready to press the finisher prompt when it popped up
Jumping just slightly at the attack, she seemed slightly stunned. "What in the-!" Pressing the back trigger a couple times, she watched hoping it did something at least.
