He nodded and wrapped her in a hug. ”A bad one?” he asked softly.

She shook her head" she said

”Do you want to tell me about it?” he offered. ”You don't have to but I’m here for you if you want to.”

she smiled and kissed his cheek

He chuckled a little and smiled at her. ”Is that a ”not now”?” he asked.

" I'm tired" she said

He nodded, kissing her forehead. ”Go back to sleep, princess. I’ll be here all night.” he promised.

Sge smiled nuzzling him

He smiled and laid back down, gently pulling her with him.

Sge giggled quietly

”Get some sleep.” he whispered, kissing her cheek.

She nodded and looked over her her daughter and gently stroked her cheek

Almost instinctively, the little girl rolled over at the touch and curled up against her mama.

She smiled and kissed her head ' love you Laurabeth" she said

Laura-Beth made a soft sound but continued to sleep.

Betty closed her eyes wrapping a arm around her

Laura-Beth subconsciously nuzzled closer to her mom.

Lysander smiled at the two of them and draped an arm over them.

The next morning around 3:30 Betty's Alarm went off

Lysander groaned at the sound and tried to ignore it, covering Laura-Beth’s ear in an attempt to let her sleep more.

" baby get up" she said with a groan

”Too early.” he mumbled.

Lysander groaned sleepily.

She kissed him deeply

He returned the kiss before chuckling. ”I can see why that worked for Sleeping Beauty.”
