Nyx wrinkled his nose slightly. "Trouble isn't a person. It can't have a smile, Jude." He replied, closing his eyes and leaning against Jude a bit.

"Oh yes, it can," Jude chuckled, twirling a lock of Nyx's hair and sighing, "Some people are exactly that: nothing but trouble. You can see it in their eyes, and their smile; they're up to no good."

Nyx shrugged slightly. "Yes, but that's not trouble. That's someone being a troublemaker." He replied, shaking his head a little bit.

"Hm, well, you're neither one," Jude said, lightly chuckling at what he would say next, "–Unless you still wanna steal a bunch of paintings from The Met. I'm down."

Nyx laughed, smiling a little bit. "Well. I don't think I want to break any more laws." he replied with a shrug, smiling up at Jude.

Jude rolled his eyes, sighing dramatically, "Fine, He laughed, "We won't become notorious art thieves. But if a zookeeper turns his head, I'm not promising to leave the Red Pandas where they are."

He laughed again. "I don't know what those are, Jude." he complained, smiling up at the other. "But can we keep going through the zoo now? I wanna see the animals!"

"We'll see them, later. They are ridiculously cute." Jude smiled, slipping his hand into Nyx's, and turning, "You still wanna wander around the reptile section?"

Nyx nodded slightly. "Okay. And yes. Wanna see all the belt animals." He said with a laugh, smiling at Jude, then looking at the animals.

"M'kay," Jude smiled, kissing his cheek before spotting a giant lizard "Ooh– not a belt animal, but neat."

Nyx looked at the lizard and shrugged. "It's a belt animal with legs." he replied with a faint smirk, watching as the lizard made its way through its enclosure.

"–With legs?" Jude laughed, smiling at its slow movements across the habitat, "Are you gonna identify everything else here as 'belt animals' with some additions?"

"Yes." he replied, laughing and smiling. "All animals are belt animals. Some have fur, some have wings, and some have gills." he gave a sage nod, lips twitching in a smirk.

"Fascinating," Jude nodded intently, stroking his chin in mock interest, "And this theory– this study of yours; of the variation of these belt animals, what do you plan on calling it?"

"Hmm." He shrugged a little bit. "I don't know." He replied. "Belt animals?" He was chuckling.

"Belt animals, of course." Jude laughed, shaking his head to himself and pointing over to another enclosure, "So– is this frog a belt animal? It would have to be a very small belt, if so."

Nyx squinted. "Of course it is. It's a hopp-y belt animal, Jude. Isn't that obvious?" He cocked an eyebrow at Jude, smiling and laughing.

"Mhhm, yes. I see that now," Jude nodded slowly, looking at the frog like it was a piece of art, "Yes, this– this hopp-y belt animal is extraordinary, however, they spelled its name wrong," He smiled, pointing to the sign that said 'Poison Dart Frog.'

Nyx sighed. "Ah. I suppose we shall have to write an official complaint to the people who run this place." He said with another smile.

"Yeah, I guess we'll have to. This type of misinformation is unacceptable," Jude nodded, trying to hide his little grin.

"Completely. I don't know how they ever could have gotten it so wrong." He was smirking a little bit, laughing.

"Hmph. Amateurs." Jude rolled his eyes dramatically, catching sight of a longer, wider exhibit. "And this one?" He asked, smiling at the alligator, "Which belt animal is this?"

"Big." Nyx replied with a smile, looking at the alligator. "It's a big belt animal. For obese people." He laughed, his hand still in Jude's.

"Hmm, I see," Jude said with a nod, gesturing at the alligator moving through its shallow water, "It is big, yes. I think it's big enough to be a fanny pack." He smiled.

Nyx nodded slightly. "Or, perhaps, a small backpack." he replied with a shrug. He smiled again, and kissed Jude's cheek as he watched the alligator.

"Hm, yeah. A little backpack might work," Jude smiled, "Though I'm pretty sure you can actually get one. I think I passed one, the other day."

Nyx wrinkled his nose. "Hm, but is it real big belt animal?" he asked, laughing, lips curved up in a happy smile.

"Some of it's fake," Jude lightly shrugged, smiling at Nyx giggling away, "But yes, it is real big belt animal."

Nyx was laughing still, leaning against Jude a little bit. "Hmm. Well. Someone took my idea already." He replied, shaking his head a little bit.

"Hmph, we 'gonna have to tell them off too?" Jude chuckled, glancing at the alligator before them, "Are we gonna hash it out in court? Sue them for the infringement of intellectual property? I got a few lawyer friends, so…" He smiled.
