Halfway through the movie the girls eyes had welled up with tears it was the second movie and Edward had just left bella

Henry was wincing and occasionally muttering about the stupidity of the movie softly in Romanian.

Lysander, on the other hand, was bitting his tongue… but after all he and Betty had been through… he could almost appreciate parts of the film.

Tyler sniffled and a tear rolled down Betty's cheek

Henry let out a soft sigh and gently placed a hand on Tyler's shoulder. He wanted to comment that it was just a movie but he didn't want to hurt or upset the girls again.

Lysander slid off the couch and sat next to Betty. ”Don’t be sad, love. I won't leave you.” he promised in a whisper before kissing her tear away.

She looked at him with red swollen eyes

Tyler leaned back so her head was resting against his knee

Lysander smiled softly at his wife and placed his hand over hers.

Henry was a little surprised by Tyler's action but found himself smiling a little at her.

Betty layed her head on his shoulder

Tyler got back on the couch and put her head in Henry's lap

Lysander smiled and wrapped his arm around her shoulders.

Henry looked at Tyler and reached for her hand, threading their fingers together.

Betty pulled the blanket off the couch and threw it over her

Tyler smiled pushing his hand playfully

Lysander chuckled and lifted the blanket up before joining her under it. ”This is nice.” he whispered, smiling.

Henry smirked and pulled Tyler close to him, propping her head on his arm.

Betty nodded in agreement

Tyler looked up at him with a playful eye roll

”Are you happy, my angel?” Lysander asked, keeping his voice quiet.

Henry smiled at her and kissed her forehead.

She nodded

Tyler smiled at her boyfriend

Lysander smiled and couldn't resist kissing her any longer.

Henry gave her a gentle hug.

Betty pulled away to look at the movie

Tyler focused back on the movie

Lysander smiled gently kept his arm around her shoulders, though he did pull the blanket back so it was just resting on his head like a hood.

Henry sighed and leaned back against the couch, planning to make more of an effort not to say anything during the movie.

Both girls looked at each other before pausing the movie " we got you guys something" tyler said

Henry perked up at his girlfriend's voice. ”Yeah? What is it?” he asked, clearly interested.

”You didn't have to.” Lysander said gently, but still grateful.

" well since Betty had to spend her birthday with Alec…" Tyler started

”I can't imagine what that was like.” Henry winced sympathetically.

”Shh.” Lysander hissed at Henry. ”Go on, Tyler.” he said calmly.

" well she knows she doesn't age anymore but she wanted to do something so we bought gifts " she said

Lysander smiled at Betty. ”Thank you. Both of you.” he added looking at Tyler.

”Why wouldn't she age? She's not a vampire anymore.” Henry asked in confusion.

Betty looked at Henry her eyes turning a dark red with dark veins under her eyes

”What the H… When did this happen, Bets?” Henry asked in concern.

" Alec turned me and put vervain chains on me" she said

Lysander's eyes flashed red at that. ”I killed him too quickly.” he muttered angrily.

She wrapped her arms around him cuddling up.to him

He sighed and returned the hug, kissing her forehead. ”I’m so sorry, love.” he whispered.

" it's not your fault" she said

”But I should have done something.” he told her. ”I should have gone looking for you.”
