"Bye," said Nick to his mother as he stepped out the car. His mother gave no response and drove away. He sighed and headed down to the school enterence. He had come to school at this hour for an early piano practice to prepare for an upcoming recital. As he approached the door, he saw some kid knocking on the door and yelling.
"Hello?!" shouted the kid at the door.
"Uh, hi?" answered Nick in confusion. He walked past the kid and attempted to open the door but to his suprise, the door wouldn't budge. He tried again but it remained locked.
"Hey, do you know how to get in here?" Nick asked the other boy. "I need to get to the music room with Mrs. Andrews." With his long blonde hair, he looked familiar but Nick couldn't remember his name. "I'm Nick, by the way"
(Before we get too far into this I just want to set some rules, 1. Use proper grammar unless its slang in dialouge or something. 2. Keep it pg-13, i know since this is set in high school students are bound to talk about more mature topics but lets try and stay away from sexual things, gore, or anything that might offend certain people. 3. Try and answer with at least 3 sentences. 4. Try and stay active, i know there are other things that might go on in your life but i don't want this to go dead. uh yeah thats pretty much it)
At the sound of another voice, Thomas turned around quickly, slightly startled. When he caught sight of Nick he put a relieved hand against his chest and let a hushed sigh.
"Oh, um, hi," Thomas greeted the younger boy awkwardly, "yeah, I have no clue how to get in here… not legally anyway." With the finishing of his sentence, he removed his hood and ran and tan hand through his soft blonde hairs. He looked back between the door and Nick for a couple more seconds before replying to the following statement.
"Mrs. Andrews, you say? Why she's such a sweet lady isn't she?" He tilted his head slightly with a lopsided smile on his face. He and Mrs. Andrews were neighbours so Thomas is always spending time with her when possible.
"She's one of my favourite people alive in this world, you know," he continued on, practically rambling at this point. It was hard to notice that he was even actually cold. The only true way to tell was the fact that he was shivering ever-so-slightly and that his face was redder than usual. He was about to keep blabbering on until he suddenly stopping himself, the abrupt silence practically deafening, almost as if someone had pulled a plug on Thomas.
He turned back to the door quietly, just staring dully at the glass. He spoke again in a voice that almost screamed opposition of wanting to be there. "Oh. And my name is Thomas." He looked down at his shoes for a split-second and then back up to Nick quickly. "So, uhh… I'm guessing you play an instrument right? What do you play?"
"I play piano," replied Nick, "It's getting cold, we should find a way in." He had expected to get in the school quickly and he wasn't dressed in proper winter attire asides from a light jacket. He began to sniffle and put his hood up as the snow continued to fall onto his head. "Do you know any other enterences?" He asked the older boy.
(its getting late where i'm from so im gonna go to sleep bye)
(I'm gonna wait for Qxeen to say something before I respond again.)
(ok and also you dont have to write 5 paragraphs for every response if u dont want to)
(Nah, I'm cool with it. It's what I'm used to tbh.)
(I'm sorry about not responding for so long! I was at school!)
Harry speed-walked to the school, not particularly caring about the snow falling onto his hair as he walked. He's always hated winter, he was already skin and bones, and the cold never really helped. But, he had to admit, winter had always been a pretty season in his mind.
After a few minutes of walking, he saw the school and sighed in relief as he made his way to the school, not caring about the other people there talking. He muttered a small 'excuse me' and opened the door–or tried to–and realized the door was locked. Damn…
"Uh hey, the door's locked," said Nick to boy that had just walked past him, "We were actually trying to find a way in. If you know any other ways…"
Harry glanced at the boy and nodded in realization. "That makes sense," he said with a small chuckle, moving his hair out of his face. "We could always just pick the lock, but that isn't a good option."
Thomas stared at Harry, almost in disbelieve. "Pick a lock? Do any of us even know how?" Without even waiting for an answer, he spoke again "Besides, I've got a great idea. My chorus teacher's a pretty kooky person. He'd keep the window open, even in weather like this," he explained. He turned from the two and began walking away. "So, I don't know about you two, but I'm going through that window."
"Well, unless you have a better idea, I'm heading with Thomas," said Nick to the other boy. Although climbing through a window was not very appealing to Nick, he was starting to get impatient and this was the closest chance they had.
Harry sighed, holding his hands up in defeat. "I do, and that sounds much better than my plan."
(Sorry it's short)
