Lysander sighed, a little in relief but with a note of concern. ”Are you sure?”

She nodded and kissed him

He gently kissed her back. ”Next time, I’ll be the guinea pig.”

"no no no no you will not be the guinea pig that was emotionally and physically painful"

He shrugged a little. ”And you've been through enough of that for multiple lifetimes.”

Some time had passed and she was putting Laura-beth to bed

Laura-Beth yawned as she was put in her bed. ”Night, mama.”

Laura-Beth yawned again and pulled one of her stuffed animals close to cuddle with.

She stroked her hair

Laura-Beth closed her eyes and soon fell asleep.

Betty smiled leaving the room shutting the lights out and closing the door

Lysander smiled as he saw his wife coming out of their daughter's bedroom.

She smiled and nodded towards the stairs for thier movie night

Lysander nodded to show that everything was ready.

She went downstairs to the couch

He soon joined her and sat on the couch beside her.

She leaned her head on him

He smiled and wrapped an arm around her shoulders.

Tyler pressed a button and fright night started playing

Henry was sitting near Tyler but not as close to her as Betty and Lysander were… even if he wanted to be.

Betty smiled and looked towards the stairs

Henry and Lysander honestly enjoyed these kinds of movies, they were very funny to them.

Laura-Beth whimpered softly, scared, in her sleep.

Both girls were holding onto each other

Lysander gently took Betty's hand to comfort her.

Laura-Beth whimpered again, a little louder.

Suddenly there was a jump scare and both girls whimpered

The boys both laughed at the scare they saw coming.

”Oh, man. That guy’s a rookie.” Henry observed as he regained his breath.

Both girls grew a pout and slid to the floor away from thier partner

”Hey.” Lysander said softly as he slid down next to his wife. ”It’s ok to be scared by that. It's just we’ve been around so long that we…”

”We know better ways to scare people and methods like that are juvenile to us.” Henry finished. ”We weren't making fun of you for getting scared.”
