(That works. I can start if you want.)
(okay)
King hummed as he started to wake up finding his arms wrapped around someone. He panicked for a moment with his slightly aching head before the memories of last night came in. Oh right, that happened, twice. He didn't regret it, no. Now he was just worried about the aftermath, would she want to enter a serious relationship or just keep it to flings? He wasn't sure but he didn't know if he could handle a relationship. Not while he was out fighting villains constantly. Or worse they found out about Aria and used her against him. He pushed those thoughts away to be dealt with later. For now, he let out a slow breath and decided to lay there eyes still shut until his partner woke up.
Aria nuzzled his neck before she fluttered her eyes open, giving his skin butterfly kisses. She lifted her head only to find her bare body against someone else’s.
Closing her eyes again, she tried to think of what could be happening. Was she having a dream from college? No, this felt all too real. All too nice. Too warm.
The morning light bleeding through the windows of his room, making her skin look more sun kissed, she remembered last night.
Oh what a heavenly night that was.
She looked back at him, her cheek leaning in his bare chest and an innocent smile coming from her tired face. Clothes sprawled on the floor and undergarments tangled in between the covers.
“Good morning” she says with a smile, running her fingers through her own hair, swiping it out of her face and onto her bare shoulders And chest
King smiled at her before he leaned down and kissed her forehead. He realized then his hair was a mess and thought about fixing it before deciding it kind of worked with the mess their clothes were and kept it as it was, "Good morning. Slept well I hope?"
“Oh more than well” she kissed his lips softly. “You?” She says cuddling him more like a cold kitten, though the heat of his skin against hers made her warm.
Would she Be able to pursue him in a relationship? She wanted more than just flings of sex and kissing. She wanted a relationship with him, enjoying his company and his personality. Being a villian of her tier, she didn’t think she could. He wasn’t safe..
“Amazingly,” King responded kissing her back. He pulled her close to him letting her sap at his expanse of heat. God knew how much he would love for this to be more than a fling. But he just couldn’t do that to her. He had too many enemies that would leverage her against him. And from his past he knew about how well that went. He couldn’t go through that again, he couldn’t put her through that either. He wanted Aria safe more than he wanted a relationship with her.
Emotionally neglected for almost her whole life, this felt nice to say the very least.
She lived too much of a dangerous, gruesome life. She murdered people for crying out loud. He doesn’t have a clue that the same hands that lovingly ran along his gorgeous body and the same body that lured men in in which he slept with just last night, had killed oh so many people. Justifying it in her mind as she was perfectly fine with as she was simply making the world a better place.
If she did get in a relationship with King he would soon find out. She wasn’t THAT good at hiding herself.
She thought about it more as she cuddled him, her face buried in his neck as her arms were wrapped around him.
She decided it would be safer to keep it as small flings instead of a relationship. At least for now. She didn’t want him getting hurt or potentially finding out who she was, leaving her heartbroken once again with even more trust issues than she could imagine.
King let out a soft sigh keeping her close to him. It hurt to not be able to enter a relationship with this wonderful person, but it was for the best. Maybe they could be friends, with benefits of course. This train of thought was going no where so he switched the subject. He kissed his the top of her head since given the opportunity and said softly, “I recall a promise about making you breakfast last night?”
"oh that sounds nice" she says with a sleepy smile and a small yawn, pulling the blanket off of her head a bit and moving her hair that was covering her chest.
King smiled and tried not to be distracted by her now showing appendages. She was quite cute when sleepy, "I'm sure it does."
"so what're you going to make?" she tilted her head to the side, looking up at him with tired eyes. The sun flooding in brought out the green in them. She was just busy admiring his features to actually care about what she looked like
"Hmmm," King hummed in thought. He distracted by the way the sun seemed to illuminate her whole being. What should he make? Well what did he have around the apartment, "How do pancakes sound?"
"oh I haven't had pancakes in such a long time!" she says sitting up, still sitting on him as she pulled her hair up with the only ponytail on her wrist. Which was his, but she was too tired to think about that.
King laughed as she watched her. He was able to sit up as well and he knew that ponytail was his. He didn't comment on and instead went to go put something on to cover himself up, "Then pancakes it'll be."
"oh I'm excited" she says happily before uncovering herself from the blankets, standing up and stretching.
King got a pair of underwear and pants on before looking back to Aria. He wouldn't mind if she stayed undressed a little while longer, but wasn't going to stop her from doing what she wanted, "You should be. I make pretty good pancakes."
Before he got dressed she noticed a few bruises on his body that had been covered up he makeup. With how much they did last night, no makeup would stay on anywhere.
She gave him a concerned look, though she was sure he didn't see her. Still sad to see the beauty of his chest and muscles and his whole body in general go, she found her own clothes, lazily slipping her undergarments on. She sat in her for a few seconds more debating whether to put her tight sweater and skirt back on, though now deciding against it. They were the only ones here, so it was fine.
"hope you don't mind. I don't feel like putting those clothes back on" she says pulling the strap up to her black bra, readjusting it on her shoulder.
"I don't mind at all," King responded seeing her in just undergarments. He thought for a moment slipping his shirt on and going to open the door. He looked over at her, "If you want to borrow one of my shirts you can. It's just an offer though." He stepped out to check that his roommate really wasn't home and he wasn't. King thanked the lord and walked over to the kitchen.
(okay so what if his roommate was like one of her hookups in college and they meet at his apartment or something? Just a kind of stupid fun idea lol)
She sat there biting her lip as she tried to think of what to do. Finally with a playful smile she slipped on one of his big shirts, just going down to her but, she walked out of the room and into the kitchen. Hugging him from behind, she kissed the side of his neck just to surprise him.
(Yesss. This will happen, soon.)
King had started the batter and was pleasantly surprised when he felt Aria hg him from behind. He was more shocked at the kiss on his neck. He turned head so he could see part of her face. She was wearing his shirt. He spoke softly to her, "Hello there."
“Hello” she purred, her arms above his shoulder, resting on his chest. She could never get over how warm he was. She loved it maybe too much.
“When does your roommate get back again?” She asked, her hair falling over back in the low ponytail she put it in. She would put it down later, but now she liked the fact that she didn't have to worry about it constantly
She hoped his roommate would still be out there somewhere doing whatever so she didn't have to leave early. Her cuddly tired actions showed the fact that she liked it here.
King checked the clock from where he was. This was nice having Aria leeched onto him. A constant presence which was something he had been missing for a long while. With the batter finished and griddle warmed up he poured the batter on to begin making the cooked discs, "It should be another hour or two. Unless he got kicked out early."
“Hm” she thought about it for a second. It would kind of suck with him here, and it would be rather awkward, but at the same time there was a small chance his roommate wouldnt mind. Right?
Ah, she didnt know anything. So she just kept to herself and would see how it played out when the time came. But for now she was too busy loving King.
“so do you cook often?” She asked releasing him from her hold and leaning on the counter
"Quite a bit actually," King responded saddened to have her leave his back but also glad that she could talk to her face to face. He really hoped his roommate hadn't gotten himself kicked out so he could enjoy this wonderful moment with Aria, "I have to do most of the cooking between the two of us."
“Man, your roommate sounds like such a bum. How does he get all of these girls you talked about?” She asked half joking but curious. “He have an enormous d**k or what?” She rolled her eyes, obviously regretting saying that. It was in a joking manner of course. She didnt want to know
"No idea," King responded with a laugh. He understood her slight joking manner and didn't both to respond to the d**k comment. "I think he's a smooth talker and then follows up on his smooth talk well. That and it's never the same girl, mainly because they tend to learn after the first time."
She couldn’t help but laugh at his way of putting it. Not sugar coating it one bit.
looking over to the pancakes, she was actually surprisingly hungry. Due to her fast metabolism, she was hungry quite often. “So how long have you guys been roommates?” She turned to his face instead of the food, deciding to be patient.
"A while now," King responded flipping them over the first side a nice golden color. He honestly couldn't remember how long it had been, "I got saddled up with him when I moved here since our parents knew each other."
“Oh how fun” she says sarcastically. “Do you plan on getting your own place when you graduate out of law school or what?” She tilted her head to the side
