Raz set logan in the back seat and went into the driver's seat. "Mind if we make a quick stop to the grocery store on our way home? it can probably wait until tomorrow if you really do want to get home but it's super quick and on the way." raz offered as everyone got in the car.
Jay looked to Jackson, this was his decision. Jackson nodded, curled up in his seat as far into the corner as he could get. "Alright, if it's quick then it'll be okay." Jay took Raz's hand, needing something to remind him that this night wasn't a complete disaster.
Raz took his hand and laced their fingers together. "you doing okay?" he asked as he pulled out of the driveway and made his way to a grocery store close to home. "Alright, does anyone need anything?" he asked, glancing around at each of them, hating how separate the two seemed in the back. Logan shook his head slightly and glanced out the window. Raz sighed softly "need anything Love?" he asked jay, slightly disheartened.
Depends what you call okay. "No, I'm okay." He flashed a reassuring smile, hoping that I'd be enough for both Raz and himself. Tonight was a disaster. Jackson's mumbled voice echoed in his head. No, don't say that. It was fine, everyone's still alive. No answer. This really wasn't good. He really hit a nerve, didn't he? You have no idea.
"Please don't kill him while I'm gone." Raz begged, reaching out to both Jay and Jackson. "I'll be back in a jiffy," he pulled on his jacket and jogged inside, basically the only person to go in there besides the employees. Through the large windows, raz could beset practically sprinting through the isles, looking for a few things. "Hey, real quick, what's your favorite?" raz asked jay, bouncing in place in an isle
Favorite for what? I'm trying to keep the tension in here from exploding. Jackson kept glancing over at Logan, wondering who was going to say something first. He still has the flower… Of course he does, you gave it to him.
"duh, Ice cream. You technically won so I owe you guys ice cream. Plus I'm hoping it'll cheer all of us up. I'm getting chocolate with coffee swirl. What do you want?" he started nodding his head to the music as he waited.
Logan had fallen asleep during the Car ride, the flower still held loosely in his hands while his head was slightly tilted to the left.
Get me the same, I need it. Jay could barely breathe, the silence was suffocating. He's cute when he's asleep… Maybe we should wake him. But then he'll be upset. Jackson please. Okay, okay, I'll do it. He gently reached over and shook his shoulder, nervous.
Raz got two tubs of ice cream and practically dragged them to the counter, not taking into account the weight. He managed to put them into a cart with the help of the employee who saw he was struggling.
Logan whined softly, a few tears escaping as he slowly woke up "hm? something wrong?" he asked softly, hoping he hadn't bothered any of them while sleeping.
Jackson hesitated for a second before unbuckling and scooting over to sit next to him, resting his head on his shoulder. He didn't answer, worried that his words would ruin everything. He wanted to apologise but he didn't know what to say to make anything better.
Logan stiffened slightly at the touch of the others and quickly looked around the car. He looked up at Jay and then back at Jackson. his heart was racing as he slowly shifted so that Jackson's head was resting on his chest, his arm around his shoulder. Logan slowly rested his head on Jackson's and gently tangled his free hand through his hair. "I'm sorry." he whispered, closing his eyes.
Raz put the groceries in the back and flopped into the seat "i caught too much ice cream but i don't care!….Love I think the coffee's kicking in… he whined, glancing back at the two in relief
Jay smiled at Raz but put a finger to his lips. Jackson's finally coming back into a better state, interrupting this will only push him back.
Jackson's lips lifted into a small smile, cuddling into his chest. "It's okay…I'm sorry too…"
Raz nodded and peeked over the seat and smiled. Logan caught his stare and smiled at him before nuzzling jackson's brow. "you have nothing to be sorry for, sweetheart." Logan said softly, nodding at jay and Raz.
"they're so cute!!!" Raz faced forwards and buckled in, looping his arm with jays before driving home
"Neither do you." He glanced up at him, his smile flickering wider for a second. "I just don't want to see you upset again."
Jay let out a silent breath of relief. Mission accomplished. Everyone was okay. I know but keep it under control, this situation is as fragile as glass.
"The that goes for the both of us." logan said, breath hitching slightly as he realized just how close they were "you're not allowed to be upset around me, k and if you are then imma try to make you happy. K?"
"Worse than what we've been through? I doubt it darling." raz gave him a pointed look and pressed a kiss to his fiancé's cheek
He giggled softly, cuddling into him. " 'Kay." He smiled, finally relaxing. "I don't know how I couldn't be happy around you."
Okay, what we went through was bad but we're on the other side of it now and guess what? Now that you're marrying me, it's part of the job that whatever's mine comes with me whenever I move, that includes people. Which means you. I'll never leave you behind again, my love. He flashed him a smile.
Logan thought it best not to bring up the previous hour as an example. Instead he tried for a light joke "believe me, I can be a bitchy person when I don't have my coffee. Raz can tell you. I've driven him up the wall multiple times over coffee before." he offered a smile "speaking of which…Razzy! do we have coffee at home?"
Raz pressed a kiss to Jay's hand, wanting to kiss him more but he was driving and Logan was yelling at him from the back of the car "I'm yours my love, through the good and the bad. No matter how close or faraway you are."
"Yeah, we kinda have an issue if there's not an aspect of coffee at all times at home. And yes Lo, we do have coffee at home." he reassured
He laughed quietly, looking up at him. "Why am I not surprised?" "Oh says you Jackson. You turn from bubbles and sunshine to needles and thunderstorms in 5 minutes when you don't have chocolate." "Well, you're not wrong." "Exactly." Jay chuckled, glad the mood was starting to brighten.

"don't worry, luckily they stocked in the large tubs of chocolate and coffee swirled ice cream, so i think we're covered for a while." raz reassured, parking in the driveway of the apartment. Raz got out and pulled out the groceries from the back of the car.
Jackson frowned slightly when they pulled up. He didn't want to move, didn't want to leave Logan's arms. "Come on Jackson, you can't stay in there all night." "Watch me." He challenged with a slight smile.
Raz smirked and held up the two tubs of ice cream. "alright, when you two feel like moving, ice cream will be inside. i can't promise we'll save any though~" he called, walking inside to set the ice cream down before heading back "if you do end up moving, lock the care on your way out." He said, handing Logan the keys. he walked back inside and changed into something more comfortable and cozy.
logan whimpered softly when Raz brought the ice cream in.
Jay shrugged and followed his fiancè inside, creating something more comfortable to wear before pulling his love close, kissing him like his life depended on it.
Jackson sighed softly but didn't move, cuddling further into Logan. "Do we have to move?"
Raz hummed softly at the kisses and returned each and everyone just as hard, wrapping jay in his arms and curling up close
Logan sighed softly and nodded "yeah, it gets pretty cold in here at night. Plus i really want ice cream. And it's easier to cuddle in there than in here." he gently nudged Jackson up and opened the door, wrapping his blazer around him as a chill whipped through the air
Everything catastrophic that had happened that night slipped away from his mind. Now it was just him and the love of his life, the man he was going to marry. It was relaxing, a comforting thought.
He followed him quietly, shuddering as the wind whipped across him. "I'm already always cold, this is just adding insult to injury."
Raz gently pulled away and stood from the couch "I think those two are coming back. I'm gonna start getting the ice cream out if you want to find a movie to watch." He kissed him one last time before disappearing into the kitchen
Logan laughed softly and wrapped an arm around Jackson. "and it would've been colder in the car." he said, opening the door for him
Jay sighed and leaned back, scrolling through Netflix for a movie to watch. Jackson merely shook his head with a smile, laying his head on his shoulder. "Oh hey, so nice of you two to join us. Listen, I need an opinion. La La Land or When Harry Met Sally." "La La Land. Ryan Gosling is always a win." "Alright cool. Logan? Opinion?"
"I'm absolutely fine with some Ryan Gosling. Plus I don't think Raz saw this yet so it'll be new for him. Logan went to help Raz with the ice cream and with taste testing, despite having already having this ice cream before
"Well, La La Land it is. But I'm singing A Lovely Night and you can't stop me." Jackson laughed. "I never asked you to." He dropped onto the couch next to him, both of them in the middle so their respective partner could sit next to them.
Raz and Logan came back ro the living room, raz with the Ice cream while logan brought hot chocolate, a bit contradicting to the frozen treat but it tasted good anyways. Raz curled up next to Jay while Logan sat next to Jackson and rested his head on the other's shoulder.
"so what movie did you pick and what song are you singing?" raz asked in slight confusion
"La La Land because Ryan Gosling and A Lovely Night is a gorgeous song that I have memorized from this movie." Jay clicked play and pulled Raz into his arms, kissing his cheek softly.
Jackson snuggled into Logan, glancing up at him before focusing on the screen, smiling a little.
