Also, despite being a straight cis person, the way my mother acts about/towards trans people really upsets me??
Like, she'll refer to my trans friend as "oh, that girl who thinks she's a boy?"
And we watch survivor, and one of the contestants is trans (and he's like, fully transitioned and stuff. Surgeries, testosterone, the works) and she just?? Keeps calling him "the one who's actually a girl" or something along those lines??
